Is the same place selling these two cars or are you saying ordered direct from Ferrari and Lamborghini. I think the reason they doing it and can do it. Because OCUK is one place. They selling all the cards. And you have paid them money at that time. So they doing it of who paid first. Why should someone who paid at 14:05 have to go behind the person who paid several days later. I'm not swapping I'm happy with my MSI Gaming X Trio so couldn't care less. But I get why they doing it though. It sucks yeah but. They paid first.

Surely all this queue jumping means that if I switch cards to one where someone has had their card delivered, but my order time was before them. They should send me their card? seems sus :p:D

Just waiting for someone to locate the container ship carrying the first proper decent delivery of 3080's so we can all start posting screenshots from the ship tracking sites!
Last confirmed piece of information was that no container ship has departed for the UK yet; instead, a load with thousands of 3080 was loaded onto a Boeing 777, I think it was an Oceanic Flight 815.

I've got an order in for a Zotac Amp Extreme, which was under pre order and have paid in full.

I dont have an issue with that, however after speaking to customer services they don't even have an ETA for the card.

I appreciate paying gains our place in the queue but it doesn't seem right to charge in full for a product that there is no ETA for.

Because. They. Are. Buying. A. Different. Product. And. Are. In. A. Totally. Different. Queue.

I can slow it down a little more with a few extra periods if you'd like.

ok, on that logic then, i can buy Jedwood concert tickets from Ticketmaster, then when Eric Clapton tickets sell out I can swap my Jedwood tickets, also through Ticketmaster, for Clapton tickets even if thousands of people had been in a queue to buy them.

the main thing is we don’t know what is actually happening as anecdotal evidence seems to be at odds with posts on this forum from OC staff.

Yes I heard this too. Pretty sure it’s enough to fill everyone’s order in the UK.

If this queue jumping business is true then OC are just blatantly and deliberately taking the **** now. I understand they don't have any control over stock shortages but this is a deliberate decision on their part to shaft customers.

They have done it before with other Card releases, I remember seeing it, people were not happy then either understandably, it is totally immoral practice that should be not allowed.
You want to swap card fair enough, original order cancelled and new order made, back of queue end of story, everybody happy.

Its nice to hear everyone is feeling the same pain not just me, for those who have sold their cards in readiness for a new card, i feel your pain.

Ive been told there are over 1500 msi trios on order, therefore its going to be a long wait regardless of where in the que you are. I ordered on the 17th too and my guestimate position is around 700th place. I cant imagine even if they did get half of those plus all other orders, it will take months to sort out.

On top of this wait, we then hear our shinny new cards might have issues, great!

Ive been fairly pacient ( you wouldnt believe after 4 or 5 calls to OC) but we need an answer on what the situation is. Plain and simple we understand there are supply issues, however there must be some sort of communication happening in the background and we are entitled to at least an update on a product that was marked as available on the website, i.e. product bought on the 17th will be available on the 18th for example.

Im a loyal customer of OCUK and always have recommended to friends, this is not what im used to experience and its a shame. :(

Could be worse. You could have pre-ordered an EVGA like me. They stopped taking pre-orders almost right away and didn't even try to sell EVGA 3090s.. By the time it actually arrives I'll just say "make it a 4080" and wait another 2 years. :P

It's not a good day to be in the 3080 queue...
