I asked just to find out I'm not changing my order in happy with MSI Gaming X Trio. But from 2 staff members and they don't have many at all. Both said can keep queue position if I decide to change. As position is based on time ordered not card ordered. Only stipulation is, if you want a card more expensive no matter what you have to cancel and re order (back of queue) due to having to take another payment. If the card is same price or less you keep queue and get refund for difference.
Id be very surprised if staff are not all on same page since they have very small staff size very small.
Email I got. Again IM NOT SWAPPING LOL

NOT true. As I said in my previous post. It is payment method dependant. I paid by PP. Topped up with debit card *I switched due to specs not for que spot. I ordered on the 19th anyway

For what it’s worth, I ordered the ASUS TUF OC 3080 on the 17th at 21:40 ish U.K. time, order no 586820*
I was informed today on the phone that I am approximately between 100 and 120 on the list, But the list is very fluid at the moment with cancellations etc, and they are working on trying to put a list together that will be emailed to people or put on the forum to give folks an idea of their position... hope that helps.
I must be low down on the list for a TUF OC then. Orders at 15:25 17th and order number 586318*

The actual state of some you is quite frankly embarrassing. You’re practically clawing at the walls screaming for this GPU. Don’t get me wrong, I’m excited too. But there is a big difference between excited and manic.

You’re putting each other through torture, and no doubt OCUK staff, with constant phone calls and eyeing the probable shi-t-ty brand card just to get it faster by switching. If Mr. Smith switches to Gigabyte to get it faster, then so does Mr. Thompson, and the rest of the fkin goon squad. That means you’re creating more of a mess. All you’re doing is forcing people to switch to your original intended card, since they will all be offset. Do it if you want. I’m keeping my position until I know the ACTUAL queue position I have. If it’s a November/December date I might cancel, and prob get one when it calms down, even if I pay more than MSRP.

Take a deep breath. The best way is to accept you’re not getting it for quite some time. If you do get it early, then AWESOME! If not, at least you’re not wired 24/7 reciting daft consumer laws and how OCUK have betrayed you. We’ll get through it, I assure you.

Yet more contradicting information being allowed to linger. Can a OC admin confirm what the situation is with regards to queue positions if switching cards? We have a direct quote from OC saying it's back of the line and official looking emails stating queue positions will be honoured. It's disrespectful to those of us who waited to make an informed decision to be bumped down the queue in favour of people who were trigger happy, trying to get hold of anything.
I specifically ordered a GB gaming OC as I have always used those cards and trust them and the company. It’s totally wrong for me to be bumped down the list because someone’s watched a few YouTube vids and decided they want something else as they don’t like the card they jumped in on just to get a card ASAP.

I sense the TUF OC queue is about to get quite a bit longer...

Or imagine you are queuing at a canteen with a lot of hungry people. Before you get there you think you want meatballs, but then whilst queueing you do some Googling and see that they use horsemeat in the meatballs so you decide to go for jacket potato instead. Would the person behind you in the queue that wanted jacket potato complain that you took his potato because he heard you talking earlier that you wanted meatballs?
That's a terrible analogy. One a queue jumper would make up :D

You will be challenged to pistols at dawn in here with remarks like that ha ha ha

100th on the list seems ridiculously close to the front of the list for what seems to be one of the most popular cards, ordered at almost 10pm? :D Id be buzzing if that was me

I had a confirmed order at 15:14 for a TUF so I must be in the top 40 at the most. I'd expect that a lot more people have ordered a TUF between 2 and 10pm so I doubt that he is 100th

Cheers, does help me a bit, I ordered 20 mins after you so gives me a rough idea

The reason I called was to clarify about the added insurance that started running on the 18th though no card in my possession, as I was on the phone about 2pm I asked about where I was, I posted what I was told simply to give some of you on here some clarity to the list and hopefully some Answers.

It makes for some good reading though... :p

I just picture people trying to sleep at night, and they’re tossing and turning. The camera zooms in and you enter the persons dream. It’s like that scene from the original Willa wonka on the boat, and all they see going past them is fkin queue positions.

I’m not judging about enquiring order details, etc. It’s the constant race to the bottom just to become first.

This doesn’t sound right to me, but it must be as it’s come from the horses mouth! There are many posts in here stating 5pm+ = November +, but if your number is correct I wouldn’t say that’s the case.

Thanks for the info mate. I was about 10 minutes after you (got let down with an order from another site) so that gives me a glimmer of hope!!
