Just been on phone to OC for a unrelated issue to my 3080 but decided to ask while I was there - "Keep an eye on your emails, as queue positions should be getting sent out by the end of the week"
 
Guys, we all need to take a step back from this otherwise we will drive ourselves crazy for months. Seriously, it's a perfect storm with the price/performance relative to the 2000 series and then this capacitor problem it's going to go on for months. Get interested in something else for a bit - those months will then go a lot faster than checking back here every couple of hours!!

yeah they said that last week, and yesterday it was supposed to be today, or yesterday,
Comes when it comes, a good portion are going to be waiting months, that much is obvious, im not sure why its so important, but hey that just me

Reminds my of the kids TV program "why don't you", back in the day that had the tagline "why don't you switch off your TV set, and go and do something more interesting instead"...always confused me!

Exactly, to be honest i've been putting of ringing them for about a week because i feel sorry for them, I could tell he was pleased when my reason for calling wasn't about the 3080 haha
 
Cards just arrived! Good luck all still waiting. Just a shame I won't be able to test it out until after work lol

When u have the USA giants chains and much bigger chains in the uk all trying to buy stock you need capital or a way to show you have the most demand to get the larger stock Allocation. When stores can drops 10s of millions of stock how can someone like overclockers compete? Can they realistically do the same without massive preorders ?

Really good point you make and am happy to have joined the "crowd fund" approach intimated.
