bleh, called up to find my queue position and got told off for calling about that because we were told not to call about that and that the queue positions are coming out later this week. Like, if it said that somewhere, like maybe in Gibbo's post, I would have known, but it doesn't and they were supposed to come out last week so only natural that we are getting curious. No need to yell at me, I have forked over hundreds of pounds to you guys you aren't exactly dishing out the information about what will become of my order and my hard earned money...

I get they are probably having a tough time, but I was VERY polite and started with a sentence implying I feel bad for them and the craziness they must be dealing with. If you can't handle a few stressed customers (and I admit, not many can) maybe you shouldn't be working in customer care
 
Just put in a pre-order for the Zotac trinity, anyone else waiting for the same card?

Just the standard Zotac Trinity? My order went in for one of those on the 17th at 14:04 and showing as 4 in the unofficial queue but I've heard absolutely nothing. Apparently OC have had 2 shipments of Zotac's in and I didn't get one so who the hell knows at this point.

Hmm I was going to call as people are being told information. So it makes sense. I suppose I can wait until Monday.

This is what I did yesterday, tried to be polite and said I understand you have a lot of calls etc and they didn't give me the info. They clearly have access to the info right now as other people in this thread have found their place in queue so why not just dish it out anyway when someone's call goes through, the others who don't call can just find out when the queue finder is out..whenever.
 
I dont have the heart to check my position on the aorus xtreme card - probably 500-600 deep. If I were a betting man and especially after that tweet from aorus_UK - I think dribbles of stock (5-10), like we are seeing now with other version will start to flow around mid Nov. I've seen no one in the press review a high end gigabyte yet - hell there are no clocks posted on its own website yet.

Shizz must be hectic for them but still, they shouldn't be telling customers off haha I don't even think I wanna know my position in the queue I'll get depressed.
 
Theory: Gibbo is not giving out info to prevent more queue jumping. Hopefully we'll get more info tonight after CS has closed for the day. Maybe we'll get more regular updates after this?

I phoned yesterday and the guy was super polite, friendly and just generally awesome. Actually moved OCuk up in my opinion slightly.

I feel for the CS staff. They have to deal with all orders, but they can't be like this either. I work in CS for a large international tech company and when there's something like this we keep people updated as quick as possible. Even if there's no new updates. Just telling folks there isn't is enough. Not saying anything is much worst
 
Nothing stopping anyone from ringing up and asking what their queue number is. Issue is that management should figure out that they'd save a lot of time by automating the process of answering the question!
