People could have a mass protest out OCUK base
Haha but only 6 of you. Does that constitute 'mass'?
Edit: in that context
Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

You know... OCUK is behaving like a company that is going to fold and take all of our money with them.
I'm seeing reviewers having them but until I see actual cards in customers hands, can't believe anything right now.
Oh COME ON. You have got to be kidding with this post. Scalping is making this whole situation worse for everybody. Good on those ruining the auctions, keep it up. Ebay are trash for being a part of it. Props to OC for cancelling these morons' orders as well.Thats actually a very childish way to act. not to mention being against that sites policies. How would you feel if somebody came to your work and made it almost impossible for you to do your job whilst bragging about it to others.
Dont forget these guys are not doing anything wrong (just immoral in some/most eyes). They've had to jump through the same hoops. People like you inflating prices are making genuine bidders pay more. These "scalpers" have beaten us to these cards fair and square. None of them i've seen are listing 10s of stock. just the odd card here and there. If they choose to make a few quid rather than enjoying their card then why not?
A few people have pre-ordered from multiple places in order to try and get a card fairly quickly. With places like OC refusing to refund postage and some charging restocking, at some point you could be in the same position just trying to move a card on without loss because you end up with 2 or more. I'm pretty sure i will be. If i get one quicker elsewhere i may stay in this queue simply for the watchdogs code and then i'll have an extra card aswell.
Im with you on that one. and hopefully if they've come up with the issues early then be plain sailing when they do finally turn up in their 100's (here's hoping)![]()

I'd doubt it. Their profit was pretty decent as of their last accounts (just over £2M year ending Apr 2019). OCUK has always taken full payment up front regardless of how much of a deficit there is in their stock. I don't agree with it, but I'm not running the company so all I can do is talk with my wallet. As I said previously, I'm not in this whole 3080 mess, but I was going to order a 5900X from them as I bought my current 3700X build here. Now that purchase will be elsewhere based on how they've handled this. You know... OCUK is behaving like a company that is going to fold and take all of our money with them.
I’m going to write to OC.co.uk’s Managing director about this debacle. It’s a total farce and if he’s not careful the wave of poor reviews will end the company.
Doing their jobgive me a break. Actually such a ridiculous take on things that it makes me wonder if you're one of them
I agree, if those peeps selling on ebay don't want them then give them back to the company for real people that do want them. Just purchasing to double your profit is scummy, especially when most of them don't have the cards at all yetOh COME ON. You have got to be kidding with this post. Don't be. I had competitors open too but had no luck. Everyones site was crashing, i got 2 or 3 in my checkout (1 each time seperately) at the main competitor but their site was crashing worse than OC's and it got removed from my cart and also when i got through to delivery and payment it crashed and didnt load delivery options. Launch was generally a shambles and only bots or people with 100GB internet or pure luck succeeded in the early window, a lot of us got the short end of the stick.I am proper kicking myself for not having more storefronts open on launchday, was just blind with my loyalty to OC, for some reason didn't even thinkg about spreading the net. OCs approach to this has really soured things I think - I am not necessarily in a rush for my card, and in the original thread I was one of the ones defending the scenario - whats the point in updating people to say no news, they're obviously at the behest of distributors, etc, etc. I just put it down to people being impatient and annoyed (justifiably), but that there wasn't necessarily some insidious conspiracy or whatever at play.
As time as gone on though, it's hard not to feel a little more empathy with people getting frustrated...OC really comes off like it doesn't care, and it's clear there is a lack of Customer Service training going by mixed experiences and how things are handled. Lack of transparency, people getting conflicting information, a general 'what can we do??' attitude, inconsistency in customer requests, etc. I don't think any of those things are a huge dealbreaker when you're talking about a wait of a few weeks, but as it becomes more and more apparent that we may be talking months, a combination of those things really starts to grate when it honestly doesn't feel like OC have done much to mend the bridge with customers beyond very generic messaging and shrugging their shoulders

Some fair points but I don't feel the same. I ordered on the basis the cards were not on the shelves and it would be a first come, first served for dispatch. This was clear so I haven't got any gripes. I do agree that spreading the net more widely, and across brands would have paid off.I am proper kicking myself for not having more storefronts open on launchday, was just blind with my loyalty to OC, for some reason didn't even thinkg about spreading the net. I got a email confirming a code was allocated to my order and assured me I'd be getting one. I haven't got my card yet. I'm 10th in line for a TUF OC. I would hope they won't be going back on that. Both my order shows I have one. And Like I said I got a email confirming. I find it hard to believe people who already got their card and no code but I would. If you have already received a 3080 from ocuk and have not received a watchdog code then you won't be getting one.
These codes only went to the first 1000 pre orders.
Thats actually a very childish way to act.

That was the MSI trio with the 18th date! I picked this car myself thinking they would have it the following day.I got a email confirming a code was allocated to my order and assured me I'd be getting one. I haven't got my card yet. What do you think. If after both my order on website and email both confirm the watch dogs legion and GFN codes. And like I said the CS guy confirmed I have one allocated to me. If I then didn't get one. That would be very bad on OCUK side.
Also I doubt they have shipped 1000 cards no where near.
