*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

@Gibbo Please can you provide an update regarding the large shipment of MSI Gaming X Trio 3080 that should have left on the 23rd October.

If MSI gave you an update regarding the Ventus cards surely they would have also given an update regarding the Gaming X Trio as well?

and let us know why an “ok” amount could possibly have become a “small” amount if you are not redistributing cards to other outlets in the group.

My tinfoil hat theory of them holding back stock because they want people who bought at the original price to cancel is feeling more credible.
I would say a lot of them are going into pre builds as those orders are bring in a lot more cash than just the card on its own.

What lies exactly? They're selling you pre-orders and adding you into a queue and shipping it when it arrives to the next person in the queue. It's a perfectly transparent procedure. They don't give you any ETA on when you'll get one, which isn't great for us consumers, but doesn't commit them to promising them to customers on x date and then missing. The only thing they could improve on is their communication. For example, listing all the cards in a table and if there's no update, specifically state "No further update at this time".

If they told you before Christmas, then they made a mistake. They don't have to stop pre-orders, as per my above post. The issue isn't with OCUK in terms of delivery, it's with Nvidia and the AIBs.

Please call them back orders

I ordered a 3080 MSI gaming X trio at 14:04pm on release day with a competitor, that's 4 minutes after launch. When we finally started getting queue number updates around 3 weeks ago I was 43rd in queue so that says they were selling gaming X trios every 11 seconds

I moved to queue position 22 a couple of weeks ago, I am still 22 but also have a date on my email which apparently means mine should have shipped Friday just gone. My point is that the shipment seems to have come in late, so I would assume the OCUK large shipment that was meant to be in late last week is likely late too, should know more tomorrow really, both shipments may have arrived late in the day on Saturday.

As a follow up here, the competitor says the MSI shipment arrived late on Saturday afternoon so did not have time to book them in and send them out.

This morning I received my picked and shipped email and my MSI 3080 gaming X trio will be with me tomorrow.

It's been interesting watching this whole debacle unfold from the side-lines. It still utterly astounds me that OCUK are accepting pre-orders on items they have zero chance of fulfilling in the foreseeable future.

The last time I calculated, based on the queue spreadsheet, they were at least 9,100 outstanding orders across all 3080s, @Gibbo stated they have shipped 559 3080s (as of Oct 26th). So we are talking less than 100 cards a week total.

I truly feel for those stuck in the queue and feel the way OCUK have handled this is deplorable. Between the woeful updates, the outright lies of being "one of the NVIDIA’s biggest partners which guarantees we will always be one of the very first companies to acquire stock in the UK.", and the overall way this situation has been handled, I can clearly see a lot of people not ordering from here ever again. Their latest Google reviews speak volumes as well. Hopefully those at the top will take some time away from rolling in piles of money they are borrowing from the thousands of outstanding orders, and take a good long hard look at how they have handled this, but I doubt it.

Currently OCUK are sending out queue update emails every Friday/Saturday.
Thank you ! Im in no rush just nice to know whats happening! Get it when i get it. I think the opportunity for people to double there money is to strong. Maybe damns on resale for a month would help the situation but unfortunately everything is about money and not about people being allowed to enjoy themselves

Gibbo! Gibbo! Gibbo! Gibbo!
Leave this man alone. He is already having a bad time by working for OC.
OC will dispatch the card when they arrive and will give you a weekly update for your position.
What more do you want?
You can either wait or cancel the order and take your money back

Sorry if this has been covered but what happened to the Ok amount of Gigabyte Eagles. There was meant to be a small shipment two weeks ago and the OK amount last week but nothing has been mentioned since?

Shipment lies would be a start.

So are we just not getting an update on the "very small amount" of Gigabyte Gaming OC 3080s due last week? I'm #5 in the queue, have been since the queue email on 15th, not a single card has shipped.
