*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Do we know that they've actually arrived at the OCUK warehouse...??

Support confirmed on discord that they (or at least, the 3080 Trios, said their could be others but didn't know till they were booked in) have at 15:36, but that IT were sorting something to help the warehouse book in and ship out in one quick go.

Do we know what time the warehouse team clock off for the night? I'm assuming there is no chance of any of the MSI batch actually getting to DPD tonight, but can we also rule out any despatch emails till tomorrow too? Or might they be boxing them up as we post?

I should have checked Discord again. Support has said that last ship is 7pm, so we'll have to wait till tomorrow for the 100+ MSI 3080 Trios and any other MSI cards that arrived in the same mega-shipment.

Do gigabyte have a problem with OCUK or is it all pre build lies going on?

Watching the comments about pre builds, I have to say OCUK must selling hundreds of these £3000+ machines in the past 8 weeks to use the amount of cards people are suggesting are 'unaccounted for'.

More likely case king are asking for them to be shipped to Germany.

What a joke, delaying shipping so IT guys can mess aroumd with their platform? Just ship the damn cards
seen someone ask if they could collect in person, if you paid on debit/credit card , and not by paypal or amazon or finance i think you can,
If thats no good to you at least Friday should be a good day if your low enough in the queue :)

Edit: tomorrow is lockdown so they were probably referring to tonight, bet tomorrow would be a no no

O.C would 100% benefit from hiring a person (or paying the mods after giving them real info) to be here full time for the next couple of weeks answering questions.

They're kinda just letting us try and figure out stuff ourselves, and whilst some are looking at things rationally, others are understandably upset and its clearly wrecking OCs reputation.

I know I've personally recommended O.C to dozens of friends and family, and even upgraded a few workplaces with OC supplies.

At the end of the day this would probably cost them less in wages then it will in lost future orders.

I understand the issue stems from Nvdia's supply, but based on purely retail/customer aspects of this experience, my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

And you'd think they'd want to get them shipped out today, rather than add more to deal with tomorrow on AMD 5000 launch day. I mean, depends on the team size, but 100+ MSI cards, and a stock of 100+ AMD CPUs that could sell out, on the first day of new lockdown? Just seems like a lot of oppurtunity to be short staffed at the worst time.

I've said it repeatedly, they need a community manager, or at least to let one of the CS team wear that hat a couple of hours a day. Give a few "heres how it stands" updates a week, and answer questions. Gibbo is their buyer, but he is the one having to deal with keeping us updated AND chasing suppliers. If he just kept a file updated and someone else used it to give us detailed updates and could ask him questions when things aren't clear they give a MUCH better impression. I'm still not convinced they are doing as massively worse stock wise vs their competitors as some people think they are, I wonder if the competitors are just much better at updating people, managing expectations, and letting people know things have shipped.
