RYZEN 5000 SERIES NOW ONLINE - 5950X, 5900X, 5800X & 5600X COMING NOV 5TH AT 5PM **NO COMPETITORS**

Just received my queue number for my 5950x....113

Got another one on order elsewhere as part of a M/B bundle as they reportedly have them in stock if you order as part of a bundle so I'll see what arrives first.

I wouldn't wait on a bundle. It will all be OEM unpackaged stuff. OEM stuff can also be internally binned like 8 Pack does.

After failing getting 5900x in multiple shops, I managed to get 5950x directly from the distributor, ETA Monday, and for a much better price.
Hope you guys get yours before scalpers.

What is the point in doing a product launch on a specific date where you have hardly any stock at all.

What an absolute mess and an utter shambles.

As a business owner myself I cannot comprehend how any business would want to launch a product on a specific date knowing that so many people are going to be angered by it (by not being able to buy), you wait until you have sufficient amounts of stock and then launch or sell on that date. It beggars belief.

The last two launches have done nothing but make many retailers look completely inept and unprofessional.

Probably because they can charge more for the product if they restrict supply, they could quite easily arrange it so this didn't happen, other tech companies manage to perfectly fine. It was exactly the same with past Ryzen CPU's yet they still have no problem selling them again this time around. People tend to forget bad experiences over time and there's just not enough competition in the arena to give consumers an equivalent alternative even if they didn't.

Just got an email saying I'm in queue number 46 for the 5600x, not entirely sure how to interpret this number in terms of time it'll take to be shipped and shipment wave. But turns out mine was a preorder after all. Wish it could be more clearly communicated by OCuk

gibbo has a statement on this , 100pcs coming next week for the 5600x

I ordered a 5900X at roughly 14:45 yesterday and I distinctly remember the button showing pre-order. Though strangely it's showing that my order has been shipped...

Got a tracking number and everything (though the email says it wont show any tracking info until 19:00 the same business day it was generated, which was 00:02 this morning)

My order for the 5900X went in at 2:39pm, so I thought it was super late, but nope - shipped last night. I think the website was so completely broken that very few people actually placed orders until 2:30pm or so when the website finally started loading again.

I got an email yesterday from DPD saying my 5900x will be delivered today but according to their tracking they still haven't received my parcel from overclockers so im guessing it will be Monday now

To anyone who had their order shipped last night and were hoping to get it today; you won't. If you click on the email overclockers sent out, the; 'we'll deliver your overclockers parcel tomorrow' email, you can click on show my options. Go into it and select upgrade delivery. I paid £5.00 to upgrade my delivery to a Saturday delivery. The process was very quick and simple and I even got a text message from OcUK saying that the delivery had been upgraded successfully.

I don't know what was the situation with nvidia 3080 but it looks to me like Overclockers has made it a common business practice to falsely advertise ETAs and availability. I am on the same boat as everyone here with my 5950X. Out of chance I happened to come to the site around 3pm and ended up ordering it immediately. And I was immediately placed in a queue because there was no stock. 2 hours before the official launch, people were already on pre-orders. If they did have stock it was minimal and they are scumbags for releasing it ahead of the official launch.
Yeah, I know, big boys crying for their toys but I NEED THE DAMN THING FOR WORK AND YOUR ARE SCREWING WITH ME!

In any case, I recently ordered an LG monitor from OC also. ETA was advertised to be about a week from the day I placed the order. Guess what, they took the money and on the day of ETA they put the item as pre-order with unknown ETA. I ended up receiving the screen 3 weeks after the promised ETA.

But what is really scammy is the fact that they take your money immediately instead of taking it when they deliver. That way, they can gain interest out of YOUR money while giving you no guarantee on when they will deliver. And if you decide to cancel, so what? They still made interest out of your money while you were waiting like an idiot and you lost out both on money and the item.

For OC, it's tails, they win and heads, you lose. Horrible and unethical business practices. I never had allegiance to any retailer but from now on I am banning OC from my list of suppliers. Enough is enough.

Just got an email with queue update - 5950x (Ordered 14:11).
You are currently in queue position 2. LMAO I guess I am getting it next week :D
That's still unlucky though lol, being second in the queue with first queue "news/update".
