As an MSI Factory seems to have gone up in flames in the last 24 hours, should I even bother with this order? Even with all the cards that went out last week, I am still 300 odd in the queue; I needed a couple more shipments like last week to have any hope of getting this card this year.

Well I am hope they afford me the same curtesy, I.e put me 1st for the next 3080 that ships , or is that not fair on the person that it is currently due to.......
There is big online shop that has gaming x trio in stock for delivery and pickup for £780, i live near london and its available for me.
An apparent statement from MSI regarding the fire.
A fire accident occurred in MSI's Baoan factory in Shenzhen on the afternoon of November 5th. The company initiated emergency response measures and notified the fire department to deal with it quickly. No injuries were caused and the production line was not affected. In the future, the factory will strengthen the promotion and training of personnel. At present, all units are operating normally. Thank you for your concern.

I would say until you get an answer it's not fair to assume you'd get someone else's card - especially since the thought of it happening to you has upset you. I know I wouldn't be happy my card being given to someone else - nor someone else getting mine.
Wouldn't rule out someone making a mistake - it happens as much as it sucks.
Hope they sort it for you sharpish though!

Yeah I got one, couldn't buy one at first then I did the bundle one with the tomahawk motherboard for £880 and it worked.

There were supposed to be large delivery of MSI gaming trio 3080 last week. Did they came cause I was bumped only by like 70 up. From 1115 to 945.was that it or they're sending some more this week?
Couldn't believe it was in stock because it wasn't available for delivery only to collect and wasted time thinking if it is actually in stock. was too late at the end.
Anyone above position 477 for Asus TUF none OC is about to move up a place, I just sent my cancellation request.
I bagged an FE in the last drop and it's running in my system now.
