*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

Hmm had a MSI 3080 Gaming X Trio in my basket this morning on a whim, but decided not to pull the trigger. Just not satisfied with only 10GB of VRAM for £780. Think I'll wait and see AMD benchmarks, if they don't blow NV out of the water will probably just sit tight and wait for a 3080Ti or whatever.
I might have spotted what you did but I ordered it, If it comes I'll be cancelling my order.

No news at all from Inno, save that they have launched another imaginary card, this time watercooled, a shame really because they can't ship the cards they launched weeks ago, makes you wonder what the point of launching a new product is when they can't supply the ones they already have back orders for.

a lot of MSI cards are floating on the site in USA every week, I can see they are ramping up their products

if the very large order lands this week then happy days. But I haven’t seen an answer on if the Large and Small order was the one reported as a very large order. If that was the case there will be a lot of sad OCUK members as this will be seen as miss reported by Gibbo, if it’s actually a very large order then I might get mine. Wait and see if there is more information soon or just radio silence!

Yeah it will do mate, it was up for a good 20 mins and a bunch of people got their orders in. I vascillated back and forth, adding it and removing it from basket several times before getting as far as payment screen. Was entering card details when I decided not to go ahead :p. FOMO is a powerful psychological trap!

Hi all,

I'm in the TUF non OC limbo, 114 in the queue. Have any of these cards actually gone out or has every move forward just been from others canceling? It goes about 15 positions a week at the moment

If I knew before ordering that OC versions will have priority, I would happily give extra £50.

"This order has been cancelled and refund sent to your payment provider. The time it takes to receive the funds will depend entirely on your payment provider"

Well that's me out, Went for a 3070 and with the money saved getting a 5900x over a 5600x :) happy all round

Surely they have to start pushing numbers that we saw with MSI last week soon.

I mean this whole experience has hammered scepticism into me, but 2 months...yikes

Been asking ASUS on twitter about the 3090s strix for weeks.
Not one answer back!

@Gibbo So where is the card, card no 4 you checked in ?

oh and just to kick me in the teeth proper, here is where you bumped me back in the queue for someone else who got confirmation of the card being sent ( no grudge for the guy)

So tell me you have not truly scr*wed me over.

go on mate, tell me about this , explain it to an idiot like me, cause frankly i dont understand
Hoping to learn about this today.

Apparently OC decided to send the 4th card to someone else who was not in the queue but was "technically ahead of me"

it was probably someone who had a faulty card and needed a replacement

You mean a non pny card (there have only ever been these 4 3080 pny card shipped to OC).

If that was the case why would they not ship a card that they had a greater amount of / due.

There where only 4 cards and there is no projection for any more
