RYZEN 5000 SERIES NOW ONLINE - 5950X, 5900X, 5800X & 5600X COMING NOV 5TH AT 5PM **NO COMPETITORS**

Perhaps AMD is shifting more 7nm production to Big Navi ahead of the launch. It would make sense... Intel are months away from releasing Rocket Lake so AMD will probably get the CPU sales either way and they will want to cut into Nvidia's RTX 3000 sales. Of course, this is somewhat wishful thinking since I'm hoping to get a Big Navi card next week! (I know, I'm delusional.)

Was 255 last week, 232 today.. 5600x ordered on 5th November at 15.25.

I ordered one from another online retailer which crashed out during payment, so ordered one here & the other retailer now doesn't have an ETA at all..
i was 336 and now 304 for 5600x i moved 32 and you only 23....something doesn't add up

Well - I went from 148 down to 138. I am guessing the update is from order cancellations rather than any shipments being made?
Thats for a 5950X ordered on the day when my payment finally processed just after 15:14 for a comparison.

Anyone else have other stuff in their basket that is (or was at least) in stock but not shipped either? surely the stuff in stock should have shipped?
Currently I have over £400 of other stuff just sat in the warehouse, paid for but not shipped? do I need to call to split the order!

It's been a wile since I built a decent PC, but this is starting to put me off already and stick with my Mac!

ok something is just not quite right here..... can anyone else see the point im making

Edit: oh I see what you mean, maybe TSMC are using capacity that Zen 3 had been using for GPU silicon?

I believe the CPU's are assembled in China after the silicon is etched in the US and binned in Germany.

I read the GPU's are manufactured elsewhere...

WTF. Gone from being 36 up to 37 for the 5950x. Is this some sort of joke? Also still waiting for a delivery that was on next day delivery which I ordered Wednesday night and dpd have still not received it and the items were all in stock.

Please keep an eye on small etailers too. I have ordered a 5900x from a competitor today who have told me that I am 9th in the queue. No ETA but more hope of getting it before the other order I placed at another place (766 in queue). Also, the sale price is pretty much MSRP.

My understanding, at least from the GPUs is that there are separate orders/allocations (from suppliers) for retail and complete builds, so one unit cannot/should not be used for the unallocated purpose.

That is the case for OEM chips. Clearly though OCUK are advertising the pre-builds in my link as being retail, not OEM.
