RYZEN 5000 SERIES NOW ONLINE - 5950X, 5900X, 5800X & 5600X COMING NOV 5TH AT 5PM **NO COMPETITORS**

My understanding, at least from the GPUs is that there are separate orders/allocations (from suppliers) for retail and complete builds, so one unit cannot/should not be used for the unallocated purpose.

That is the case for OEM chips. Clearly though OCUK are advertising the pre-builds in my link as being retail, not OEM.

Well there's more markup in pre-builds than a single CPU so I'm not surprised to see stock being diverted to that, sucks for us

so I am #999 in the queue for 5600x, is that a coincidence or is that the max integers for the queue and I'm now waiting until 2026 for stock

310 to 296 for a 5900X, I've got another 5900X on order which was supposed to be here by now.

If it does make it before OcUK I'll cancel the order and free up a spot but here's hoping they get the 300 shipment in by the 20th just in case the other order doesn't come through.

233 > 219 on 5950x doesn't match with numbers as advertised...however I'm putting it down to what they actually receive/ship at the C.O.P email sent out on Fridays
So in reality my queue position may be better than that. Either way its trivial in the grand scheme of things keeping my expectations low to be pleasantly surprised... hopefully before year end.

I've been waiting to upgrade my 2600K (yep a blue 2600!) for years and finally squeezed when everyone else did. I'm hoping this one will last me 9years plus to! so really a couple of months isn't going to change much for me.
I brought my DDR4 6 months ago and needed to pull on what seems the last DDR4 support anyway and this was it.

Always used OCUK, (as I could practically walk to their shop) and never had any issues. I'm just glad they're respecting queuing and providing good open and transparent comms, must be a nightmare logistically and I know it will come good in the end.

Hello can someone tell me how to cancel an order for the ryzen 5 5600x I found out I’m 729th in the queue I’ll just be buying a ryzen 7 3700x

I agree because the numbers don't add up.
I've gone from 741 to 700 therefore it must be due to drop outs and not delivery.
Yeah seems to be people after the 450 ish mark moved down because after that position, it's where the people who are most likely to have given up will be.

67 to 65 for the 5095x, so not sure how it's working in the queue in front of me or behind me, but there's (probably?) some logic to it.... probably... otherwise, it's broken.

Glad I'm not the only person who saw something strange with the queue numbers. On Friday last week I was in queue position 80 for a 5900X. Today I'm in position 81. It'd be nice if @Gibbo or someone else from OCUK could let us know what happened here and why some of us got bumped more than others.
