Nah, you misunderstand. With brands like MSI, Gigabyte, EVGA, Asus etc who work through distribution channels he can't raise the PO until he knows the GBP price. Since the distributors buy in USD and sell in GBP we have to wait for them to work out the price based on the daily rate.

At the moment, all 3000 series is in allocation, which means that the manufacturer decides who gets what, typically based on the sales reports that we send them weekly. The manufacturers know how many back orders each of their key partners have and allocate accordingly.

Some manufacturers like to be given whopping great POs that they'll probably never be able to fulfil, typically the ones that Gibbo only deals with direct, but not many.

Hi Scott firstly I would like to thank you for keeping us so informed latey it's great and what we want, and I apologize I understand that you guys have your backs up against the wall and this isn't completely your fault but please don't take me the wrong way Im just so frustrated about the way this hole thing has paned out. This was my first pc build and I feel like a kid who can't open his presents lol

@ScottiB you don’t happen to know anything about Zotac Trinity 3080 OC’s arriving anytime soon do you? Been waiting for a replacement as part of an RMA for nearly a month :( thanks for the communication you’ve been providing over the last few days, by the way.

Didn't you hear, they were due to arrive around the 21/11. And here we all are still waiting.
 
does anyone reckon when the MSI cards are due there will be a lot of them I'm talking V large amount, i hope they don't start trickling in in small amounts, surely not
 
I read somewhere here thar MSI was supposed to arrive in Manchester last week. After that no updated. IT seems someone stolen the entire package and it is selling in different places as i could see MSI Gaming X trio 3080 in different places. I am current 37 in the queue for it and hopefully it will arrive before new years
