By all accounts 2077 is littered with many bugs still and you might be better off waiting the 2-3 months for your card while they fix it?

3070 is not plentiful if we made ordering available by this time next week we would have 10,000+ backorders and at best we might get 500-1000 this side of Christmas.

Last week I saw a few 3070's sitting around available to buy at a couple of places. I was very tempted to get one. They weren't at great prices mind you, low end 3080 prices, which understandably puts people off. With Cyberpunk now here this week demand for any of the 3000 series cards is at fever pitch I guess.

The sticky thread had the MSI update, and I have double checked and there are no MSI 3080 Ventus 3X OC due in.
If there was a post stating as such it was probably an error by myself making a copy and paste and including the SI shipments and as MSI generally put most of the Ventus into SI's and most of the Gaming X into retail.

Having double checked there is no Ventus 3080 due in, just Gaming X which were posted in sticky thread.

I've just emailed ASUS venting my frustration over the bias the 3080 TUF OC is getting over non OC. I'm sure it'll be a worthless generic response I get back but it made me feel a little better.

I did the same with Zotac , they told me the Trinity was there biggest mover yet none here.

Just installed Cyberpunk and played an hour on my old 2080super....You know what ?? runs very well so far at 1440p DLSS quality mode...only have raytracing on...none of the extra RT goodness...but still, Looks amazing and runs 60 fps, So don't hold off playing, Play now and up the sliders when your cards arrive.

I really hope Asus have shipped 3080 strix oc to other stores as well. I cancelled my order here as I was 1000+, but am currently 6th in queue somewhere else. They seem to have gone off the grid until now...

OCUK sent out a decent batch of Gigabyte cards last week. One of the biggest in over a month.

The queue is moving. At least for me

As a quick followup for people wondering where the Gigabyte shipments are, they're definitely getting shipments, even if not being posted about. I went and collected my card this evening.

It's a bit of a beast compared to the FE 3070! Had to move a front intake fan to even fit it in my case.

You said 10 were due in and you might throw in some si copys if possible. But you had been promised some before xmas, and you knew we were talking about retail. This proves to me you are just full of ****.

It is a shame you think this, I am posting on my day off to try and help you guys and if you feel throwing insults will make you feel better then go ahead.
What are si copys?

Too date OcUK has received 150 units of Ventus 3X for Retail and those have all shipped out, in comparison the SI department has only recieved 50pc with 20 more incoming, which are destined for PC builds and have being allocated by MSI for PC builds, if @ScottiB feels he can spare some of those 20 and you are within the first 10 in the queue you might be lucky but that his totally his decision as right now MSI are allocating way more to retail than SI.

On Gaming X MSI have allocated and shipped 240 units so far to OcUK which have all shipped out against retail orders and zero have being shipped for SI.

So MSI are favouring retail massively.

Its a tough time, patience is needed and if throwing some insults makes you feel better than fine with me but its not really called for and I pass the information as I get, some information I miss, sometimes we make mistakes were only human and these are mega stressful and busy times.

Seriously! there's no need for that. Gibbo has been on leave again today but he's here answering questions, he deserves some credit for that not abuse.

Gibbo made a mistake and pasted my SI allocation along with his retail into the update thread. As you see each line has a name next to it and the 3080 Ventus had mine. As I said, there are supposed to be ten units on the way for retail which are not on this shipment but one shipping next week.

I asked him to remove the line from the update because I knew that some people would misunderstand and I'm aware how sensitive the Ventus situation is, but as I've said before, Ventus is MSI's SI focus card, I don't get given any Trio at all.

You'll have to forgive me being selfish, I've got a big corporate customer who has been waiting for some graphics workstations since a couple of weeks before 3080 launched and I'd like to get the builds started. Besides, to be blunt, out of 240 cards on this shipment only 10 are for me so forgive me for being greedy too *sarcasm*. (there might be some cards here for me already but I've got to go in tomorrow to check - it's all a but confusing - multiple suppliers and all)
Once I've got the 13 cards that I need for these builds I will give the rest to Gibbo. That said, seriously! no need! We're all frustrated and we are trying our best.

And in all honesty that is part of the reason why updates slipped for a while, because sometimes you all want info, but then some of you get the info and because its not the info you want abuse is hurtled, I make mistakes, we all make mistakes, no one is perfect and I am doing what I can to help you guys even on my days off and I am not taking a leisure day off I am moving house, whilst getting the old house ready for new occupants and sorting out all the issues with new house.

The fact is business is crazy, life is crazy, my car has being demanding new brake pads, a service for over a month now and I've had it booked in twice and cancelled twice simply because right now there is not enough time in the day and I'd not be taking any time off if I could help it but moving house is kind of not something that I can delay, in fact I already delayed it a month plus due to cowboy builders but the deadline was end of November and am already a week past that so now I have to take the time to sort the houses and get it all sorted but when I take a break and sit down I log in, check my emails for updates, check my skype and message the suppliers for updates and then log in here to give you updates.

So to say I do not care is a million miles from the truth, I am stressed beyond belief and hammered the suppliers over it, but its unfair on them too they are just the product/sales manager for the board partner, the biggest and main issue is simply a lack of supply combined with demand way way beyond anyone could have ever expected.

Gibbo didn't lie to you. What we've just told you correlates with exactly what I told you a couple of days ago. I said to you that there might be 10pcs retail ventus on the way and I might have some to spare. The reason that I used the word MIGHT is that they haven't left the hub yet and the last lot, which left ten days ago still aren't with us....I can't tell you for sure that they'll be with us in time for Xmas and that's why Gibbo hasn't posted up the info on that shipment yet.

You misunderstood what he posted because you didn't see MY NAME next to the 3080 Ventus, don't blame him for a simple mistake because you both made one.

I've said numerous times that we can't answer every question, we can't always be clear and we can't make promises.
I ASKED you guys not to be upset or offended if we didn't answer your question, yet here is the perfect example of the sort of reaction which, if it continues, is going to result in no updates whatsoever. I don't come here to be insulted and neither does Gibbo.
