Other than the FE, which is incredibly difficult for the masses to get hold of, please show me a 3080 which is selling for sub £700, perhaps even £750. People really need to stop comparing the current prices to what was seen at launch and the FE. Those launch prices are gone and will not be coming back in the near future. There is too much demand and too many global factors driving up the prices which reach consumers. If you need a card, then I'm afraid these are the prices we have to pay now. If you don't need a card and merely have an upgrade itch, then just wait it out, but it'll be a long wait.

3070 FE is £469, paying £700+ for one is ridiculous, the AIB cards are barely any better if at all.

Happy to wait for an FE or next gen, 1080 is doing "ok" and Xbox Series X looks to be more and more of a bargain every day. :)

However, if you "need" a card then this is slightly different.
 
Guys, stop trying to make yourself feel better by creating justification that you done a favour, or it doesn't matter, blah blah blah. It does matter. If you have no business buying anything from this batch, stay out of it, bloody Mother Teresa's. It was nice and quiet (relatively) before few of you started "helping".
Don't want to buy anything today? Go do something productive.

Yeah I think it's clear some people here are very self-entitled and think they are owed something, but it's easy to flame me being an actual OcUK user and present on this public forum and retailer website. They'll soon grow up I hope :D

Tbh I doubt on just this forum alone, OcUK would even shift the stock they've been holding back if Gibbo's got a few 1000+ now... If it was only offered to forum members on any kind of stricter system. Deep down they need the publicity lol

I agree, at these prices it will put off 80-90% of buyers I think. So as I said before, you'll mostly get buyers who think they can resell for more.
 
I hope Gibbo adds some 6900xt/6800xt soon, as I'm getting tired, not from waiting, but from select few here who are so full of themselves thinking that e-shop cannot move their stock without their "help"

I'm getting tired of self-entitled people here, thinking this public forum and retailer is some right and only they are allowed to be on it. So full of themselves :D

And what do you know, these 3070s are STILL up for sale and showing in stock... Told you they'd struggle to shift and need the "help" ;)
