In a few mins you will have a chance to grab a 6800 or 3060Ti

Solid bit of kit, isn't it? Had mine in earlier today.

The only thing that grinds my gears are all the unsightly stickers on the top plate. If AMD didn't want to go the fancy Nvidia way of etching it by the video ports, they could at least have it on the side of the card (opposite end of the video ports) just to be a little out of the way.

Anyone else got their 6800/6800xt yet? just had mine delivered 15 mins ago. Really impressed with AMDs reference design, solid quality

DPD tried to deliver mine earlier but leaving it in the safe place was all to difficult apparently, being redelivered tomorrow. Bit disappointed about that :(

For some higher value items, DPD will not let you use a safe place - it may actually be noted on the tracking page. This was the case when my gpu was delivered last week.

My 6800 XT Red Devil arrived nice and early today (around 9:20) and I've had it out of packaging to take a few photos and feel the weight/quality of the build. I can't put it in my comp just yet as I'm on an online training course and it'd be a bit rude to shutdown in the middle of that :)

I had a quick search around for my anti-sag bracket that came with my Phanteks P600S case and have it ready for later. Going to make sure this huge gfx card is securely in place.

I purchased Forza Horizon 4 + add-on packs at the weekend so I can give it a good run for its money.

I recently sold a second hand 2080Ti for £750, and the MSI 2080 Super Gaming X Trio for £700. Absurd selling prices, but it sits roughly in line with how things are being priced relative to performance(I think!).
I had no qualms getting a 3080 at a dumb high price, since I could at least sell my existing cards for a dumb high price. Only thing I dislike is the 10GB VRAM.

Does make sense i suppose. Be even more hacked off if it got nicked! Got tomorrow off now to take delivery.

I've just looked at the auction site ... I could get up to £360 on a good day for my 1070Ti that I paid £430 for in 2017. That's insane, and you *should* be able to get a 3060 Ti for about that, which is much faster and four years newer.

This has to be the cryptocurrency rush doing this. I understand new cards selling out in lockdown, but cards two generations old like that?

Il let you know what I get for my 6 year old 980ti with no working displayports. If its more than £200 people have more money than sense.

My 6900xt apparently has been left in the safe place by DPD, so hopefully it is still there, that I can maybe install it and find out that it is DOA :D :D Now that would be a nice turn of events

Any tips on selling your old cards on the bay to try and limit being scammed?
Plenty of photos and listing the serial number in the auction would be a good idea yes?

Apart from limiting the auction to uk, verified bidders and sending the item by some sort of authenticated delivery method what elsemwould you do. I think I remember that some people used UV pens to mark up the card so if a different (broken) one was returned to them they could prove it wasn’t the one they sent.

Sapphire 6800 MBL arrived 9am today, Thank you Overclockers, you have never let me down, Well what can I say regarding early thoughts on this card, WOW, So so quiet with a fan curve set at 30%, can only hear my case fans (Bequiet 700)
30c on the core and 34 on the hotspot, quick spin on Heaven 4 temps went to 58c core 71c hotspot fans rose to 42% and core clock highest went to 2299 out of the box, didn't touch a thing other than set fan curve, not a lover of zero fan running.
So far I am very impressed with this card, I know it's early days yet but this exceeds my expectations as regards heat and quietness and I was thinking of getting the XT or the xfx Merc, The price of this card was good considering the price of all the custom cards so i'm happy, Big gains on all scores so far from my previous overclocked under volted Vega nitro 64 and I thought that was quiet, seemingly not as quiet as the 6800 but 5c cooler, Thanks for quick delivery as always Overclockers.

Sell on AVForums or cash in hand Gumtree (once we're out of lockdown)
