Apple swapped the ground and mic around and the Xbox controller doesn’t like it. Hence the high pitch as the mic is actually the Earth when using a Apple headset.

not sure on why the Bose isn’t working

ah thanks that’s useful to know! Annoyingly I don’t have any other headset to try

-edit- actually I believe the Bose are iphone specific so that could well be the issue. Doh!

Control "looks" good in 30RT but moves like ****, I really don't know how anyone can play it like that. I think it looks good at 60 personally. I've spend quite a lot of time flipping back and forth and honestly it's such a better experience at 60, I just can't do 30. I'd be surprised if its actually achieving 30 a lot of the time, it feels that bad.
It's awful. Needs to be played at 60 IMO. Did a quick switch and nope I can't be doing with that anymore.

The whole debacle with save games has really cheesed me off. It’s 2021 ffs.

It wouldn’t be a problem if they patched the old game and used the smart delivery as Microsoft intended. They didn’t do this as it enables them to sell a second copy to people who upgraded their consoles.

Your existing TV seems pretty capable, so that's a lot of money to splash just to get 120Hz and HDMI2.1 support (which only a very limited number of TVs have anyway)........are there many games that even support 120Hz?

Most options are 55" OLED (LG or Philips)........or a bit more and you can get the 8K 55" LG NANO956 at £1199.

Alternatively, if you want 65", then the LG NANO866 and NANO906 can both be had for less than £1000.

120hz is a massive different. My mate literally did this yesterday. He’s blown away with the difference between a Samsung led he had an a new LG BX 55. There really is no competition to this tv.

I turned modern warfare down to 60fps whilst we were playing about. Such a step down from 120hz, for games like cod it’s a game changer for ability to see people when looking around faster. Plus the associates improved response and reduced input lag

Thinking about it, don't most modern mid to high range TVs support 120Hz nowadays?
I think perhaps the question should be whether he just wants to get those boxes ticked, or if he wants the best TV with HDMI2.1 support etc......I think perhaps I just jumped to a few conclusions! :D

My 2015 Sammy JS8000 supports 120hz but not at 4k. I FPS on PC anyway as the competition is just so much better.
