Yeah even my cheap and cheerful £550 55 Q70R supports 1440p120 or 4k60. At my viewing distance (2m) 20:20 eyesight can’t resolve 4K, and almost all 120hz games run at 1440p, so I always leave it at 1440p120.

It’s horrible going back to 60 FPS for shooters, and it’s a noticeable improvement in most game types.

You might as well save the extra for the CX as that is supposed to be the sweet spot for LG OLED gaming set's at the moment (I don't have one though so can't comment further).

As also mentioned, the vast majority of current XSX games will more likely to be at 60FPS for 4K or 120FPS at a lower resolution (though there are games at 4K 120FPS out there). Your current TV will be fine for now and if you save for a little longer for later in the year then you'll probably be able to get the CX at a better price when the 2021 sets start hitting the shops.
 
The processor isn’t really needed for gaming. Not really sure brighter is needed when you want to spend a grand

a BX is miles ahead than what was originally considered

i ordered two , both have been confirmed, wife went nuts. rightly so, so the 2nd is up on MM if anyones interested. either give you boys and grils the chance to buy one or ill return it
