Second hand price insanity!

Be aware, that all counts for nothing, the buyer has 6 months to log a dispute, even if there's nothing wrong with it they can say it's faulty and PayPal/eBay will side with them 100% of the time and you will even have to pay for the return shipping, they can then re-buy somewhere cheaper.

I no longer sell on eBay for exactly this reason. I've even had a card come back to me with different serial and eBay wouldn't accept the photos as proof of anything, police didn't even want to know, was told I would have to sue the person via small claims.
That’s ridiculous Andy.

Out of interest did the card with a different serial work okay? What did you do with it?

3060tis going for £800+, mental.

That's horrible. Flogged my 1070 for £180 in early Nov which I thought was fair and would have been worried about accepting more. Got my 3070 at RRP and have mined about EUR£190 in the last 5 weeks.

So far I'm at about £100 cost for my 3070.

£190 is not to be sniffed at, might put my 3060ti to work! Any tips?

I am trying persuade my cousin to sell his ASUS 1060 ROG Strix (earn some cash), they are currently going for £250 - £290 used... more madness.

He bought it new, so has the box and everything.

The prices are crazy i knew they were for the 30 series but for the 10 series i had no idea. I put my Asus strix 1080ti on FB market place for £375 after seing them going between £400-500 but it would be sold as seen. But had a love/hate realationship sellig on ebay. There was two people who really wanted it and one of them offered me £400 and he would come in 2 hours to get it. Didnt realise until he came here to pick it up he was doing a 200 miles round trip to get it.

yeah just use nicehash and find a nice profile that maxes your hash rate and minimises your electricity use.

think mine is +1400 on the ram (could do more but give it a bit of breathing room) and 60 power limit 70 temp.

core is at minimum.

get around 62mh at around 130w.

BTC was in the high 20s and is now above 40, this coupled with ethereum falling has given me better than expected gains.

was expecting eur90ish a month

When i picked up a 3080fe in January my brother in law offered me 750.00 for it i said no chance. Sunday just gone he up the offer to 900.00. still no but if i could buy a second one we could come to an arrangement but the chances of that happening are zero.

Just saw, even a popular exchange shop are offering close to that, no wonder FE cards are so hard to get, every scalper and his gran are probably buying them up for a quick buck.
I slightly regret cancelling my 3090 FE now, shop even buying that for almost £150 more then rrp... so come the next drop I doubt even that will be hanging around for as long as it has in the past. Thankfully I managed to get hold of a PS5 close to launch, that should keep me gaming till gpu prices normalise.

You got a long wait.

First, prices will continue to rise until they reach a peak point (I think we are also there). Then, you need to ride/wait the period where prices will be reducing until they normalise (near RRP). I am guessing a minimum 6 months wait for prices to normalise, it could be around the iPhone 13 time haha.

I'm surprised how low that shop's prices are TBH. Well behind eBay. Not just the buying price either, but the selling one too:

3060 Ti FE: Buy £544, Sell £640
5700 XT (any): Buy £276 (cash) £318 (vouch), Sell £425

My 5700 XT bagged me almost £400 more on eBay (after fees & postage). Shame the difference was so big, as I'd have prefered to not use eBay.
