I tried to get a second card. got declined at the end. That was with a new account, had to use the same address though so that was probably the problem. Bought my son a 3090 off of the MM but he really wants an FE so I figured I'd try and get him one. booo

If you bought your 3080 FE from them before then your order would get declined anyway.

Haha. It was his money. I'm not THAT nice.
They're both pretty unreliable when it comes to alerts. Just opened my Telegram app and got 40 odd alerts come through. It's as though you need to keep the app open in memory to get the notifications sometimes.
Regardless of the context, you've mentioned a competitor. I'd advise you redact before suspension (see giant competitor suspension notice at top of page).
Discord has given me notifications from last October for every FE drop until this week, I found Twitter was more unreliable, like you opening the app and getting a shed load of notifications all at once.
Telegram has been good since I installed it last month but I`m still unsure how much delay there is between desktop and mobile notifications.

It's a strange rule for the 30X0FE thread though since all the FE cards are sold by one particular retailer in the UK. I don't see OCUK getting any FE's in or even listing htem.

I get why they do it, free advertising for a competitor on a forum they pay for. And difficult to police on a thread by thread basis so easier just to be consistent. I've been a member for not far of 20 years so I should have known but had a brain fart posting in a rush while I had to go and do something.
Thanks for mentioning that competitor, I'd never heard of them before.
It is what it is, their ball, their rules, I know, I've fallen foul a few times over various sections of the place.
Still waiting for a 3080 but not looking good, I might get another 3060Ti and then flip that at a profit and then use that money to get a Ryzen 5800 to replace my 1600AF lol

Its every man for himself now Im afraid. Im after another card for mining on will pay upto £500 for a 3060 Ti or grab a 3080 FE if I can. At least I'll admit it.
