Inexpensive Strong Beer/Lager

Jesus cannot even recommend him the old Purple Tennent's Super Lager (9%) it is now a blue can and lower alcohol varying from 7-8-9 (not sure if older stock).

Got to be SKOL Super. Though in order to drink that you must also grow an immense beard, never comb it and wash it only with rainwater. You also have to develop a knack for shouting gibberish at people in the street whilst also getting them to simultaneously ignore you.

Seriously though, it's a shame it has to be in a can. You can get better quality stuff if you went on to some of the Belgian beers. Chimay White or Blue, or even Westmalle Tripel or Tripel Karmeliet are all 8%+ but much better quality. Also, good call with Duvel @turbot1984.

Nice, my local shop has just started stocking Neon Raptor. I saw one of their posters in a bar in Ashby De La Zouch and tried buying it from the barman!

No success sadly.

Given that list i'd definitely be adding Pomona into that. I've had 2 recently that have really stood out (Gnome DIPA and The Answer is with the Question). Their regular beers are superb too, but those were excellent.

Not heard of Garage, will add to my radar.
 
Garage are from Barcelona

Only one from Pomona I have had is a collaboration one Tesco sell, it's ok but obv made down to a price, will look for their other stuff
 
Need to be an absolute minimum of 440ml. I have been putting together a URS for my needs and it is as follows

1) Alcohol content > 8.5% (preferably closer to 10%)
2) Serving = a can of 440ml or greater
3) Cost per serving less than £2

Please stick to this URS when making further suggestions.
