I’m still confused how he spun, and why it did so in second
Usually you’d use second in the wet to eliminate wheel spin and such....

Apparantly they had bad wheel spin in France which cost them in the pitstop, they were trying to address this by pulling away in second - not sure if the lack of wheelspin caught Bottas out, left him looking a bit silly.

Pérez seems slow today. Half a second lost in the 3rd sector on his first run, and not much better on his second.

Norris 3rd, DR 15th and lucky not to be knocked out.

And set the fast first sector of anyone but ended up 15th. Strange.

Alonso has out qualified Ocon again, looks like he's turning that battle around.

I'm always surprised how much Giovinazzi out qualifies Kimi only for Kimi to finish ahead in the races.

Mercedes are jokers. They reckon the 1:04.7 isn't safe. I guarantee it's easily safe.

EDIT: ok I'm starting to look stupid now. Only 0.3 separating the top 10. That is crazy close even for a short lap.

Surely there must have been a car issue to have caused that? Very worrying either way, that could easily have injured a number of the McLaren mechanics, and an incident like that during the race could cause big problems.

I'm calling Warmware Failure
