Tokyo Olympics 2020

Climbing tv camera work on the climbing is disappointing - inadequate close-up on the hand/foot positions they are using , they could be using split screen format, say,
so, for me, not really conveying the skill of the sport, a bit anodyne.

But the gold winner is also 19, so suspect they could be fighting each other. Hope Bell gets some funding now she's proven herself!

Be some big funding shifts that's for sure following this Olympics. Hopefully will inspire some people to get active whatever it is they want to do!

I've only been watching a few minutes but this women's skateboarding is weak. :/

Even though the mens BMX was another level compared to what Charlotte Worthington did, what she did was still amazing to watch. This is poop. :p

Winner of the women's 400m hurdles got a new WR and looks like she came last. Miserable git. :p

edit: getting sick of JJ Chalmers now. What an insufferable c-word.
edit2: we're getting humped by the Netherlands in the hockey but since we only have rights to 2 channels, lets have it on both of them any way. Great work BBC. :/

Does anyone have a link to a 3-2-1 point system for the Olympic medal table as the usual table of just counting golds seems utterly crazy. I can't seem to find one for this Olympics.

Shes apparently worth £5m already and has a nike sponsorship deal and over 1m followers on insta. Amazing but she needs to be very careful and I hope she has fantastic parents. Thats so young to have that sort of attention and exposure to the public.

Bronze medal at that age is just mind boggling though.
