Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous

I converted Wenduag into a dual throwing axe Demonslayer and shes deadly, throws 6 axes every round :)

I also converted Camellia into a Herald Caller and she summons a ton of very strong mobs now
Yeah Wendy seems like axe throwing was her calling, two weapon fighting really jacks it up
I took Lann this time. I don't like Sosiel so I pretty much turned Lann into the same sort of thing, Cleric with 3 level Monk dip. Caster when needed, good bowman and has a Dog (Bully) companion built for tripping to crowd control nuisance enemies
Used a respec mod to turn Arue into a kineticist as well.

Party comp is:
MC - Instinctual Barbarian Trickster sneak attack crit monster tank
Greybor - off-tank, axe and board harasser, attack of opportunity stacker
Arue - Kineticist tripper
Lann - Caster, ranged damage and harasser/CC
Woljiif - Vivi/Eldritch scoundrel cross, buff caster, sneak attacker and potion chugger. There's also a lot to be said for his ability to stack negative stats on enemies late game
Daeran - heal friend and CC

Might shake this comp up a bit though. Could do with maybe Ember in here as support and fire damage. Can't remember if she's capable of getting Sirocco but I could really use a Selective Sirocco slave. I seriously underestimated how OP tripping was in the first playthrough

How are you building him and what's your current level and mythic level? Some builds start off bad and then a few pieces of the puzzle click into place and they become incredible. Some it happens as early as level 6 (you can turn Wenduag into something OP that early on) and for others it can take most of the game to come into their own.
Alchemist (Vivisectionist) seems to make a better typical two dagger sneak attacking "rogue" type character than the actual rogue class does

Wenduag is great, best damage dealer I have with her bow. Rogue is level 9, mythic 3, just seems to die extremely easily and unless hits a sneak attack is rubbish.

Suspect I need to read about builds see if I made some bad choices.

Are you prebuffing? Ideally you want your rogue to have stuff like Mirror Image, Cat's Grace, Invisibility/Greater Invisibility and Mage Armor on before going into a fight
They should always be hitting sneak attacks really, unless you aren't flanking

You really want to turn Wenduag into an axe thrower, she'll be even better

Hmm I'm playing on core so in the shield maze due to lack of any kind of item I was getting one shotted :( Are they needed later on?
Unless the portrait goes grey the character isn't actually dead and doesn't need resurrecting. You can just heal them into positive HP and then it's as simple as standing up from prone
You only need at least one scale if you want to unlock the Gold Dragon mythic path

Sigh... ah well. I guess that paths blocked off for me now. Not such a big deal at the end of the day as being a dragon doesn't interest me that much, it's the missing out on content.

edit: I'm amused at being able to equip a cat.

I do buff sometimes. I have just respecced the rogue, few diff selections. Will see how it goes.
Will have a look at axe throwing. :)

I love wolf I have him as a rogue and always have him enter the fight after my tanks engage. Sometimes I throw invis on him from my caster so he gets those crazy sneak attacks. Excellent having him next to a prone enemy when they wake up too.

I'm just excited to see how ridiculous my MC gets on this playthrough. I feel like it's probably going to start getting nutty in a few more levels and maybe 1 more mythic level
Already starting to think of a third as a swarm though

Also, I know a lot of purists dunk on people for this kind of minmaxing but I'd recommend finding some way of working Dodge >> Crane Style into your build on pretty much any melee character

This 100%, prebuffing makes an enormous difference and Haste too, Haste on your whole party can literally win you fights that you should lose

Early game it's the little things that turn fights. Grease to knock down half the enemies for example
First couple of acts just using Animate Dead + Haste can win a lot of otherwise impossible feeling fights

Yup, pits, spiked pits , acid pits, its surprising how many of the tough mobs will fall into them

Then you get to have fun with Web and later it all comes to a head with the joy that is Sirocco (Selective Metamagic)

I'm looking forward to it :D

A major blunder I made was not taking pointblank/precise shot because it refers to weapons >< That screwed me until level 4

Yeah the game isn't totally clear on some things like this
Such as how 1H and Shield counts for Two Weapon Fighting

Only just got a proper look at some of the things Trickster path can pick up. I already knew about things like Improved Improved Improved Critical Improved massively jacking up your critical range and giving +1 to crit multi and yeah that's stupidly good, but the Mythic Tricks? Reroll any failed d20 roll with +25 to the original difficulty against your athletics modifier? Every item has +1 to the enhancement, has a random added minor and major effect? Permanent see invisibility?
This path is busted

TRICK FATE SPELL! Three rounds of guaranteed nat 20s

Free sneak attack just for picking the path, no need to dip into another class

Sounds nuts, do the hp pools of enemies sky rocket at end game or something?

Wolf just one shot 3 enemies surrounding him 1 level higher than him in one round. Hilarious.
