Lol, there IS a scoreboard, its just not an individual player scoreboard, its a squad scoreboard. As for that quoted post, talk about Greta levels of hysteria
Let me disseminate that...
No Scoreboard - No scoreboard means you can't tell who's hacking -
The flip side of this is that as so many people hack because they like to see their name at the top of the leaderboard to "show off" their 104-3 K/D , no individual player scoreboard means they cant do that and removing that egobooster might actually reduce hacking.
can't tell if the teams are balanced -
Cant say that I've ever seen a balanced game of BF, with or without scoreboards. People gravitate to the winning side and the winning side then generally wins a bunch of matches in a row until the winners get bored and log out anyway
can't see how many bots there are in your lobby -
Cant say that I care really, I see enemy, I shoot enemy. What that enemy is just doesnt matter to me.
can't see everyone's ranks/levels -
I dont care what ranks other people are, I've seen low ranked players in FPS play way better than higher rank players and vice versa, rank/level is not an indicator of player skill (its an indicator of time invested - you could be the worst player in the world but if you played enough you would eventually hit max level just from the time played) nor is it an indicator of whether that player is a reliable teamworker/PTO player.
can't see everyone's stats and comparing yourself and your squad to everyone else -
Its a squad based scoreboard, so you can 100% compare yourself to your squad, having said that, I dont compare my stats to others anyway, why would I care. I just run about and shoot people and capture objectives, I know in myself whether I feel I did well or not, I have no need to justify or validate my play by comparison to someone else. They might have a better connection, faster PC, quicker human reaction times, less real life interruptions or a hundred other factors which could affect scores so no point in me comparing myself to them. I enjoy and have fun thats enough for me.
can't see latency of everyone in the match -
Again, I dont care. As I've said, I see enemy I shoot enemy. End of.
can't see overall score -
not sure what they mean by this, do they mean the current team scores? Because you can 100% see that, HAVE THEY EVEN PLAYED THE GAME????

As above, I dont care who is playing what or how many.
The players have everything to lose when there is no scoreboard, yet EA/DICE have everything to gain. If you care about your community and respect us as dedicated fans of this series, you will bring back at least this one feature. -

Probably written by one of the aforementioned egoboosters who cant cheat to go to the top of the scoreboard any more and is annoyed they cant show off how leet they are to people as a way to feel good about themselves
Panzer 4 tanks are bugged as well, the crosshair is massively offset to the right for some reason.
