That implies that density counts for nothing? Guess these work at x1 but do miners have mobo's which can take 10 of these? Othewise the overheads of a mobo, CPU, RAM etc. should surely make this less appealing?

The short answer is yes. Theres a device you can get from ebay and other places which expands a 16x slot to 4 1x slots (which also means mining doesnt need a lot of bandwidth). Also mining motherboards also exist

$250 US = £230 inc VAT, the US price will not have taxes factored in.

So yeh expect U.K. AIB retail price to be near £400 then.

Which cards is the 3050 going to be relative in performance to from previous generations?

I previously had a Radeon 580 8GB myself for comparison. Assuming the 3050 will be better and a good 1080p card?

This should be a really good 1080p card, especially in games with DLSS.

I dont think performance has been announced yet? But my guess is that it'll probably be between a 1070 and 1080 performance in old money.

Then add on AIB and retailer mark up.

Given they have just re-released the 2060(?), I'd suggest its more 2060ti or better in terms of performance.
