The Scarab is a SRBM not an anti-aircraft system, it's the system the Ukrainians used to strike the Russian airfield. The destroyed aircraft was on the ground at the time.

What on earth are they thinking?
Should really just ban it from the platform, but that wouldn't really stop it's presence on more active platforms like whatsapp, snapchat or what have you, so perhaps best to leave it up for posterity.

If Russia doesn’t pull this off soon it’s going to be hugely painful for them. Think how many weapons we’ll put into Ukraine’s hands - mostly importantly their prepared to use them.
So basically in three days Vladimir Putin has got the whole of NATO on the same page, got the whole of the EU on the same page, convinced Finland/Sweden they should probably join NATO, Alienated China, proven to Saudi Arabia and India that Russian military equipment isn't worth buying after all and pretty much set fire to his countries economy.

They used then for trickery, they drove up to a Ukrainian checkpoint and because they look the same as Ukrainian police the soldiers there didn't realise it was subterfuge until they started gunning them down. Ukraine raised hell over it the other day.

There must be senior members plotting.. you can't have that many ambitious nut jobs circling the feeding tank and Putin left bloodied.
Apparently Germany is sending 1000 anti tank missiles (presumably javelins) and 500 stinger surface to air missiles.
Not being funny, but this is going to be hell for Russia, if the west can keep supplying them with really effective kit like this.

Yeah god forbid the regular news sources have to verify their sources first rather than just show some random stuff posted on the 'net, what an old fashioned idea eh.
Perhaps a little less glib - still someone's son or daughter, mother or partner. Even if they did sign up.

The US isn't reporting how many javelins it has in supply, but there is reports for how many have being built and which countries bought some and how many. Based on that the US must have 10s of thousands of javelins sitting in supply depots

Kinda easy to "shoot them down" when they're sitting at an airbase
The incident in question was an attack on a Russian air base using multiple Scarabs.

I'd love to be a fly on Putin's wall. It must be driving him apoplectic with rage that NATO are overtly supplying all the kit that is BTFOing his invasion and that there's not a single thing he can do about it. I bet his entire head is red (pun slightly intended).
