I wouldn’t quite say they have air superiority either. At least not yet. Seems they didn’t take out all the Sam sites so trips inland are not without a lot of danger. Be interesting to know if Russia is self sustainable on wheat production, or that now massive sanctions have hit they simply can't go without eastern Ukraines farm land to try and feed Russia.
Edit looks like in 2019 they were the 102nd biggest importer at $46m, so not huge amounts
