ANNOUNCEMENT: The train just arrived at the platform is from Speaker's Corner
Whilst it can happen through certain procedures, I would think that it would not.Unless UN Security Council expels Russia or remove their right to veto.
Someone asked this on LBC last night to Ian Duncan Smith. He said it wouldn't work as you would have to throw out the whole UN character and rebuild it which would be impossible.Russia is a "permanent" member, I am not sure how that will work!
Peter Hitchens has said that Ukraine been used as a battering ram for the US against Russia for some time. The US have sat back and just basically gave Putin plenty of rope.is this the first time a war between the west and russia has been fought by proxy?
rest of europe fighting against russia without having to put boots on the ground just give all the equipment to ukraine
is this the first time a war between the west and russia has been fought by proxy?
how can russia veto if they are the ones causing trouble? i dont get the politics of war. if russia is the aggressors then kick them out the UN since they are not a nation that wants to unite with the rest of the world. unless you count the soviet union...

It's not a difficult concept to grasp.
When the elephants fight, the grass gets trampled.
The whole point of the UN was to avoid elephants fighting.
BBC Website said:"There had been statements by various representatives at various levels about possible conflict situations and even collisions and clashes between Nato and the Russian Federation," said Dmitry Peskov, spokesman for Vladimir Putin.
"We consider such statements absolutely unacceptable. I will not name the authors of these statements, although it was the British foreign secretary."
Some sort of large dosage tranquiliser dart gun is probably the best way to stop two elephants fighting![]()
