By "external aggression" he really means any mass protest/uprising which might occur in future and which he/the Russian state will no doubt attribute to the CIA/Western NGOs etc.
Read a few tweets today (OSINTdefender/OSINTtechnical) claiming that Ukraine launched a big counter offensive in the Kharkiv region today/yesterday. One of those claimed that Ukraine has effectively destroyed an entire regiment (>1000 troops) and pushed them all the way back to the border. Found this link (https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2022/03/4/7328307/) backing it up, but as a biased news source it has to be taken with a pinch of salt. There a couple of new videos today showing destroyed Russian vehicles allegedly from this area (it's snowing in those videos + weather reports are that it's snowing in the region), so perhaps some truth to the story.
These sanctions are going to last years, they need to do something to keep the domestic market functional, they are in progress of making 737max competitors but sanctions have set that back further, they will just end up buying Comac stuff.
See 2:52 forward in the YouTube i linked.
I've seen a few reports they sent the 4th Guards Tank Division into a full retreat but other than a couple of videos of abandoned armour with markings of that division not seen much proof - if true it is significant as they are one of the more experienced groups.
Looks like a prime stinger target to me
I would guess their main mechanical issue going forward will be engines and spare parts, I doubt they'll be doing any flying anyway soon.I'm not talking just about building planes/sourcing parts though, reneging on lease agreements is going to harm them going forwards, they won't be able to fly overseas.
The insurance is surely going to be a big issue if/when they do want to fly in the future. You don't know which sanctions will last and for how long, if the conflict ends soon then being able to travel internationally is something they'll want to be able to do.

I'm going to type something distasteful BUT... If "we" are not prepared to go to war, which we are not.. i am certainly not.. then Ukraine must understand the reasons why and repercussions if we did what they ask.

Do you think they don't?
One of their MPs was also arrested passing intel to Russians. The Ukranian secret service shoot and kill one of their own peace negotiators in the talks in Belarus when trying to arrest him, due to "strong evidence" he was leaking info to the Russians...

Odd turn of events if true!![]()
I think they don't seem to care going by the language they use. Everyone that dies will be blood on NATO members hands.
It's desperate talk. I'm glad our leaders have their current stance.

Putin is probably cursing Xi and his dumb Olympics right now xDNo they are not at all, more like frenemies which depends on which way the wind blows.
