Dunno. In C&C a very early tank rush seemed to work unless the other side was expecting it. In the case of Ukraine they were expecting it.

There’s no way back from this for Putin, or at least I can’t see it… It just feels like he’s overplayed his hand, this situation with the convoy could end up being the biggest military blunder for years?

Whilst it’s entertaining watching them struggle, it’s also sad looking at the mess they’re making to a decent country, they’re too big and proud to just stop and admit it was a mistake.

They are trying to but its complicated.

U.S is asking European countries who have any Migs in stock to send them to Ukraine and the U.S will replace the Migs with F-16s.

The problem however is that the U.S doesn't have any off the factory line F-16s to send them so it would be IOU F-16s that leave those European countries more exposed.

U.S is currently rolling new F-16s off the factory line, but the next batch has been purchased by Taiwan

As Poland is a NATO country and there are so many troops in all countries that surround Ukraine and Russia with aircraft carriers in the seas as well as planes at airbases within the country they don't really need to worry about missing a few old Mig 29s.

Decent country they are a rogue state mate always have been remember when they shot down flight MH17 and tried to blame the Ukrainians.

They won't go back to Ukraine a nice life in Germany or a run down flat in an old Soviet apartment block.

How many older F16s in storage in the desert? Few weeks and they could have them up and running again as loaners, while the new ones are built.

Fake or not it was funny and he put a smile on many peoples faces today by doing that in such a horrible time we all need a laugh or a smile. I think it was compression artifacts but doesn't change the fact he made a joke of it in such a serious time, remember he's a comedian at heart.

Below is a video of the same event much clearer and shows no he's not a ghost just what I believe are video artifacts on the previous videos.

As said above it was just funny Zelensky made a joke of it.

They won't need them for a long time.

Putin has screwed this up so bad it will take years for Russia to recover from this. He simply didn't expect a war, he thought their supposed might would scare them into capitulation.

It's like standing up to the school bully, just takes one to put up a fight and the bully isn't so tough after all.

I think his reign is going to be over pretty soon. Someone will take over and negotiate a deal to leave and have the crippling sanctions lifted.

The west cant afford to lose the resorces russia has so the deal will be done which will include penalties to help rebuild and compensate Ukrain.

You never know Ukrain may even take back the disputed territories as a bonus, Russia would be in no position to supply them anymore so they to will run out of munitions.
