To be fair that's a sniper, and it's still a very efficient weapon...this is when you know your invasion isn’t going to plan, Russian soldier carrying a Mosin-Nagant M1891 rifle. 1891 is the year it went into production.

More telling is the visible lack of load bearing equipment to carry ammunition etc apart from what looks like yellow gas mask case held up by a pistol belt.this is when you know your invasion isn’t going to plan, Russian soldier carrying a Mosin-Nagant M1891 rifle. 1891 is the year it went into production.

I'm sure I read a few days ago the troops refused to go in when ordered. Some of the officers and men just said no. They are Ukrains neighbours who will have family and friends there and just though stuff that it's wrong.Georgia retake their land and Belarus declare independence from Russia. It would be a mess. I wonder what is going on with Belarus? They have decided not to send any troops in and have had senior people resign in protest at the war.
It will be 1 between 3 soon enough
The Russians thought they were going in as liberators, by the time the Belarussians were ordered to go they probably realised that was ********!I'm sure I read a few days ago the troops refused to go in when ordered. Pity the Russian troops didn't do the same.
Should be enough to go round, over 37 million have been made since inception.

No large scale ground offensive for days now something got to be up surely?
The front tanks ran out of fuel, food and battery.
The resupply trucks cant move through the traffic jam to refuel front tanks.
Anything that goes off the main road basically risks being lost in the mud.
The Ukrainians flooded huge sections of the land making it even worse.
Any resupply trucks gets targeted by Ukrainian forces.
Top brass got sent in to sort out the logistics, and got taken out by snipers.
Long story short, that convoy aint going anywhere for weeks. It might have a lot of scary firepower in it, but its literally dead in the mud right now.

If the road can take three vehicles abreast why did the Russians just not leave a vehicle width gap down the centre and just have a 60 mile long convoy instead????
How they really made such a simple error? If your rolling in a long armoured convoy that may need maintenance and fuel en route it is sensible and smart thing to do to leave enough room width wise on the road to be able to drive support vehicles up and down….
I find it hard to believe they really made such a daft mistake? What happens to the troops now surely if they can’t get vehicles to the front the troops will starve or have to abandon vehicles so they can eat unless they can run motorcycles with food or do air drops.
Putin is not only destroying Ukraine he is destroying Russia too, what an absolute madman and bad evil person to cause all this suffering, what’s even worse is he is actually fighting his own people. Makes no sense apart from in his head he either wants to reform USSR or really had fear of NATO setting up next door but he could have still aired his fears and made demands without going to war.

Russia are still grinding the south and east fronts - doubt we'll see any large scale ground offensives, especially in the north, until they've established dug in positions to push from while in the north probably waiting for the south and east fronts to join up to be able to send pushes north.

@thenewoc Just stop it. You are deliberately trying to get a rise out of people.
Take a break from the thread and the forums please.
