Not particularly, I mean the thread is about the general conflict and it's been going for days, I thought you were maybe referring to something specific. What stood out today that wasn't also an issue yesterday etc..

Yeah it's definitely a risk that they shift away from relying on the dollar to make world trade. Which isn't a good thing for the US.

Both Russia and the Ukraine don't seem to place the same value on human lives as we do.

They're both bad, there is no 'right' or 'good' here so there's no good way for the wind to blow. Putin is justifying things with his bias, Zelenskiy is defending things with his bias but WE are being sold a story to buy-in to.

Its really not that complicated. There's no overarching conspiracy, its a simple, good old fashioned land grab by an authoritarian dictator thats been about 10yrs in the planning.

I don't know what you think it is that is being "sold" to us exactly.

Ask questions sure, im a skeptic myself but if youre not believing say what the BBC is telling you, an organization that goes to great lengths to verify its sources and have actually been calling out fake videos etc, then who are you trusting?

Yes according to the opinion polls in Russia the special operation in the Donbass is quite popular like when they seized Crimea Putin's popularity went through the roof they have to be shown the errors of their ways and ditch this Russian nationalism.
