Quality vs quantity. We get a lot of stuff here but a lot of it is quite simply propaganda. It has been said over and over but the advice is falling on deaf ears - take everything coming out from twitter with a gran of salt. The press will eventually report on corroborated stories and analysis by professionals as opposed to twitter posts showing a single picture and make some extraordinary claim and context around it and everybody treats it as an undisputable fact.

Why would it pass onto unelected Poroshenko? There is a chain of succession that is clearly outlined as in every other functioning government.

I wouldn't trust him with a barge poll. Maybe I'm just cynical because of the behavior of our own politicians but I suspect Poroshenko is keen to be seen on in the press an on the TV on the front lines so he can get a plea deal when his case finally resumes.
