I'm not sure why you have to make it personal against Kisin. The guy is Russian and has relatives in both Ukraine and Russia. Unless you have relatives there then he knows more than us about the situation on the ground.
I agree about the untrustworthyness of Putin. Though we are getting propaganda from both sides so it can be difficult to know what is true. I think the general attitude of Putins and his minions as been disgraceful and unconstructive.
I'm not sure if arming countries works. The US did that for Britain, China and ironically the Soviet Union during WW2. But still had to get involved.
I've read the background information on Ukraine and I know why the Russians would be nervous at the prospect of Ukraine joining NATO, even though NATO (and the EU) have repeatedly stalled their application. It seems like Putin as become paranoid and as overreacted.
