No Putin is saying supply lines INSIDE Ukraine are targets.
He was not talking about hitting supplying countries, just the convoys etc once they cross the border and become completely legitimate targets within Ukraine.
In case Russia decide they need to take Berlin again. Or at least they decide the eastern block needs to rejoin the USSR.
This is Putin testing Bidens response, if he had any sense he would threaten to target Russian convoys in response. Some might think this sounds like escalation, its not, its testing.
There will be zero response from the west if Russians attack supply convoys inside Ukraine.
I am surprised they have not done it already.
Target all the enemies weapons and supllies being transported into front lines, it is a strategy used in every war.

The logistics alone of keeping them supplied with crayons while they’re there must be an utterly daunting prospect!

He can’t even gain air superiority in the eastern part of the country, so how does he expect to hit arms coming into the country from the west with no intelligence and no aircraft target spotting, another empty threat
He has had some stronger speeches on the situation - but also some instances where he really hasn't portrayed like he is out ahead of the situation and some where he seems quite lost even. But what really matters is action not words.
They have spotters on the ground, drones, etc. and stuff like cruise missiles or might try to use VDV against the convoys. Though their performance so far hasn't been great - a lot of their cruise missile strikes have been off by around 50m or so possibly due to limitations or potentially sabotage from within.
If you think Biden won't fight for Nato you're deluded, he can't fight for Ukrain because it's not Natos fight.
Nato, in particular the US and the UK are the ones suppling all the intellegence to Ukrain troops and are the main reason they know where to hit them the hardest, to great effect. Hitting them with US and UK weopons too.
To say Biden is not helping is a disgrace, politics should not come into this.
As for Trump, he is one of Putins puppets and it was widely believed he was taking the US out of Nato in a second term. It's obvious he was comprimised in some way when he went to Russia to build a trump tower there.
He is also funded by russian Money, hundreds of millions of dollars, that buys allegience.

Also Nato has air presence up as these supplies are going to Ukraine to the border, question is if these supplies are being driven by Nato troops within Ukraine as that would trigger article 5 as attack on Nato troops.
Never said he would or could do it.
Was purely pointing out, he was not threatening (empty or otherwise) to hit the convoys inside NATO member countries, as was being implied by others on here.

Biden is likely only following the script, basically a public announcement. There will be a lot of private communication between the US and Russia, that is where the real talking will be done along with the real threats and red lines.
I don't think he will attack them, Biden was giving off weak signals yesterday and now Putin is testing him. This is all a game playing out in Putin's mind. I don't think he will attack NATO, we have all seen his army is terrible, all he has is terror. Although he might attack one by 'accident' and see the response from that.
Hilarious, said with zero irony as well. The lack of awareness is actually astounding here.
Biden was quite wishy-washy, which gave the impression of green lighting "limited" conflict and working against the Pentagon until the situation became undeniable albeit he has come out with some stronger stuff since. It was the Pentagon taking the lead initially - even in the UK the strongest talk and action initially came from Ben Wallace and the MOD.
As for politics not coming into this...
Of course weapons shipments inside Ukrainian territory are a legitimate target, how would you think they were ever not?
I assume in the back of a barn somewhere?
Though I doubt they expect to be attacked there interesting as people mention they seem to be making all the mistakes that were learnt as lessons in WW2. They still have significant air power under utilised despite taking a fair few air losses.
