No way, he's a Putin puppet

Putin put a lot of effort into putting Trump in, but his aim was always to destabilise the US rather than to install a puppet. Trump is simply too erratic to be a puppet. He's easily manipulated but not a reliable ally on, well, anything.

That said, he was also a friend to fascists like Bannon, who share Putin's fundamental ideology.

I think it is something we aren't wary of enough in the West.

If Bush senior or Junior had been in charge now , conflict would probably have ended or been severely escalated with America in control not running. They knew how to start and end a conflict

With the Iraq invasion of Kuwait Bush Snr didn't pile into Iraq when many wanted him to. I can't believe I'm defending a Bush

I'm trying to check the language on the arms convoys thing

It seems to be from most accounts it was said as arms convoys TO Ukraine. Where as some are saying arms convoys IN Ukraine.
Those two words can be construed as very different things.

Dont get me wrong I dont think Russia are ballsy enough right now to genuinely go with TO when TO means outside Ukraine borders, but thats far from a given.
TO could also mean within depending on language used/inferred.

Feeling this Nato is something really bad for the world to have after seeing how a very powerful country like Russian can just destroy Ukraine and no one can help because of this stupid Nato thing :(

NATO is why it isn't spilling out beyond Ukraine. The UN, etc. should be involved with what you are talking about but useless in this situation.

Worth noting it was probably a translation from Russian to English, with all the possible inference errors that could occur during such translations.

You do understand the point of NATO? What it actually is? and that Ukraine isnt part of it?
Are you mistaking it for the UN?

You've not managed to disprove any of what I said there. I'm glad you recognise irrefutable facts when you see them.

I don't need to disprove someone's personal opinion lacking evidence that addressed none of the content of my post, there was nothing to disprove. Did you disagree with what I said? You just said Orange man bad essentially

Your objection is with nuclear weapons and the assured destruction of all parties who have them once a conflict erupts, not with NATO.

NATO isn't stopping anyone helping Ukraine; but it is stopping Russia messing with Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, and Poland.

The fact is that, in most circumstances, countries don't take military action to stop other countries engaging in military action against other countries; and certainly not against major powers. Russia's actions in Ukraine aren't a threat to the USA or its major interesting so the USA isn't taking military action. Thus is the way of the world :(

Trump wanted NATO to be properly funded by the European states who neglected to do that, he called out Germany for failing to pay for their own defense by only putting 1.5% of their GDP into it while simultaneously buying oil from Russia, they have now upped their defence spending and stopped buying Russian oil - only since Russia invaded Ukraine. Trump was literally 100% correct in what he said. Gerhard Schröder the former German Chancellor was nominated to be a director at Gazprom, he also was a proponent of Nordstream 2, you don't think maybe Trump had a ******* point? On one hand the US is paying for defending Germany from Russia, while Germany is paying for Russia's military via oil money. It's laughably outrageous and Trump called it out. Yet people like you just say Orange man bad.

Fake news. Stop making things up.

Appears to be an NLAW in action.

Scary that even a couple of light soldiers on foot with an AT weapon of that nature can significantly impact a mechanised column, even if not decisive - if they can keep up hit and run attacks like that with minimal losses it would have a serious demoralising effect.

Shame the first launch seemed to malfunction or hit something in the treeline short of activation range.

France, Germany, Britain & Poland should seize Kaliningrad, then when Lavarov bitches about it to the UN we should say you can have it back when you **** off out of Ukraine, Then when they do we move a load of troops into Crimea & Donbas and they say yeah we're gonna keep Kaliningrad now.

Bet Putin bottles it.

Yeah, same as Vietnam tactics, it destroys morale and will eventually turn them against the commanders, they are not stupid, they will realise they're being used as cannon fodder, that's why he needs more none Russian soldiers he can send to their deaths.
