We should try and track the number of rigs for sale and the excuses for sale, here is one

The price is the deposit, the full price is £xxxx. I purchased this rig 3 months ago for £xxxx however my circumstances have changed and I no longer have anywhere to keep all my rigs so am forced to sell some off.

I have noticed it too deffo more availability and cheaper prices. Also quite possible to buy higher end Nvidia cards from new at not too much over msrp

Yeah definitely noticed it and not only 30 series

The 2nd hand chain has reduced the prices it will pay for most cards, eg they were paying about £100 cash for a 970 at the peak of the boom and its down to £37 now. I have never seen so many gpus in my local 2nd hand store as they have now, even pre-boom. So some people might be trying to unload cards before they drop even more. This person calculated that there are lots of cards tied up in mining and even if only half of them hit the used market it is still a lot of cards, https://youtu.be/fFbSPP-kgHQ?t=757

There are 580 mining rigs for sale at the "normal place" some of the 580 include bare frames at £25, the most expensive one is £30,000 complete with 50(!) GPUs with another dog ate my homework explanation

I am getting out of mining due to various reasons, ive made my return on investment as well as a healthy profit, and also im considering moving house at some point in the near future.

Shenzhen has now gone into partial lockdown. All none essential business are now closed. Plenty of tech manufacturers are closed, not sure if this will affect gpu supply's.

Wondering when I'll be able to upgrade from a 2070S at a normal price, just moved to Alder Lake. I reckon I'm stuck with it for at least a year. Not that it's terrible at 1440p but definitely struggling in some titles and I didn't upgrade last year due to insane prices.

When the prices drop, my GPU will probably be worthless second hand and I'll end up having to pay a lot for an upgrade, unlike the move from 1070 to 2070S which didn't really cost me much.

good to see bit late for me now would have loved the suprim but will stick with the 3080fe maybe next gen might be able to bag AIB :)
