Poland’s lower house of parliament has approved a bill to increase the annual defence budget from 2% to 3 of GDP. Manpower will be more than doubled, and a territorial defence force of 50,000 will be created. More of this, please!

He was exactly that during his entire presidency. Biden ran rings around him to win the election, and now he's handling this situation like a true statesman.
 
There is no reason to invade Russia anyway, if the intention is to draw away their armies then they have plenty of reserves to deal with an invasion, especially with the small numbers they can use for this. It’s not like a computer game where you can send a small team to the enemy base and they their flag and win. Russia’s narrative is that Ukraine are nazi, so if they invade then it will solidify their propaganda.

A rout of Russian forces, which tbh isn’t beyond the realms of possibility, could see them recapture large parts of Luhansk and Donetsk. The old dug in battle lines will have shifted allow for rapid movement if no defence.
Problem will be any Ukraine armour squirrelled away closer to air defence/sams will be needed and very vulnerable if moved out.
If Mariupol siege can be broken with utilities and supplies restored it would be huge. Hope to god it has to allow the civilians out.

I mean, for all Bidens faults they’ve given the Ukrainians a fighting chance by feeding them every move the Russians made. They’ve also hit hard in terms of sanctions and supplied weapons.

genuinely think there’s a better than even chance trump would have done zero. Absolutely nothing to help. Maybe after the outcry, but reluctantly and would have been too late for Ukraine by then. He’d not have done any sanctions that could affect the gas price.
This is the man who lauded the invasion when it first went in. Who essentially tried to bribe Ukraine for info on Biden for weapons.

and yet people somehow think we’d be in a better position!
I’m just glad an actual adult is in charge, even if he is ancient.

Dont know what is real or fake but Russian soldiers talking about death squads murdering Russian soldiers who try to go home.
It would not shock me if that was true, they were know for doing that in the past.
