I honestly don't understand how people can put their faith in that idiot. He is thick as ****, a narcissistic sociopath who got played by every head of state he went up against. Biden might be an old man who should be putting his feet up in retirement and he might not be as sharp as he used to be but as an intellect he blows Trump out of the water. Trump own advisors said he was thick as ****, are they all lying? Barr just this weekend said he had no mental control. His ego is that fragile he created the Big Lie because he couldn't handle losing an election. Is that someone you want controlling the worlds most powerful military in a situation that could end up as WW3? Its like you want us all to die :rolleyes:

Narcissists are easy to manipulate as you play into their narcissism, ask the right questions and gauge their response, Putin almost certainly did this to Trump. He ignored the people who have studied Putin's mind for years because one conversation with him, how more dumb can you get?

They value their economy though. Does China want the west to sanction them in the same way we have Russia? They could very well cope with it far better than Russia can and it would likely hurt us badly but they have to have taken the response to Russia into their calculations. This isn't a new thing anyway, their rocky relationship goes back decades and talk of China invading goes back decades as well.

I'd still love to know what was said in that meeting they had where it was just Trump, Putin and 2 interpreters. Why would such a meeting even take place?

Iran and the US take punts at each other all the time.

It was only a few years ago the US droned one of their top scientists and Iran missiled some bases.

This has been set up by Putin, it's trying to take the USA's attention away from Ukrain.

It might just work as the USA has to respond. Iran is going to get clobbered and then the retaliation which means it could be the start of something a lot more serious.

Just watching the mainstream news including CNN and nothing is coming on about this, it would be headline news by now so probably fake.

That's because Putin knew better than to **** with a nutjob, he tried it on with Trump in Syria, Trump pulled his pants down and publicly spanked him, he didn't try anything with trump again after that. Then the second Trump was out of office and Covid was on the back burner he's straight into Ukraine, minus a slight delay China requested to avoid the war clashing with the Olympics of course.

America's military is designed to fight China and Russia on 2 fronts and win, Iran isn't even a distraction
 
I was listening to an episode of a Podcast called Angry Planet the other day, which featured an interview with a chap called Mark Galeotti, a chap who’s a well regarded professor and author on Russia and Russian history, and he raises a good point in relation to speculation about Putin’s health.

Russia made so much of being the first to roll out a COVID vaccine in Sputnik V, and as we’ve seen with so many other world leaders, it makes for a good PR photo to have your President/Prime Minister etc being seen to get the jab, so why did Putin pass up the chance to get his photo of him having Russian glory injected into his veins? Additionally, why the absurd bio-security surrounding Putin, such as the farcically long meeting tables? The Kremlin states he’s vaccinated, but they don’t say with what and when. Could it be that Putin’s undergoing treatment for something that leaves him immune-compromised and unable to be vaccinated?

I can only hope that the rumours about Putin’s health are true, and he suffers a demise every bit as painful and miserable as my dad’s when he died of cancer 13 years ago. IMHO, Putin’s actions in life have earned him such an end.

I'm highly skeptical of the health rumours, one media place talked about him being bloated as proof. Didnt seem to occur to them that he is 70 years old and maybe thats why he looks fatter? Another media place said that he was leaner in 2007. Man is fitter and in better shape 15 years ago shocker !

I personally think the whole "health" issues thing is just another piece of propaganda rather than anything grounded in fact.

Some recent footage he has been spluttering/coughing badly, also nervous/uncontrolled body movement/twitches when he may have thought the camera wasn't showing it and/or him. Doesn't confirm any health issues but does possibly suggest there is something going on.
