Really feel like sometimes it is better to be silent on such matters, and just get it done, then share the news.
Will take it on board, it's a bit easier for me like that aswell :)
I have to make a lot of posts when a lot of different news is getting released, so if it's all in one it's easier for everyone to read.

I know it must be highly stressful situation and im sure he thanked behind the scenes but I seem to see Zelensky moaning constantly about no fly zone etc, yet all this military aid every week some thanks and praise to USA especially wouldnt go a miss.

Looks whats been sent today for example.

The way I view that is the usual politician tactics of proposing something extreme in order to get the less extreme alternative.

It's a way of managing Russia's reaction to other offensive weapons that might be supplied to Ukraine.

I was talking about the US/EU btw not you lol. Keep hearing about ukraine getting planes/missiles/anti-air whatever - INSTANT NEWS... and then it all falls through.

Russia want a no fly zone - it means all the SAM systems can operate with impunity of a blue on blue kill. Expect S400`s inbound from Russia against OP AIR.

Jen Psaki Speaking Live:

*WH Press Sec. Psaki: Biden Has Said He Recognizes That It Is Appropriate for the Fed to Recalibrate in Order to Maintain Stable Prices.
*WH Press Sec. Psaki: Additional Sanctions and Actions on Russia Available
*WH Press Sec. Psaki: Putin Has Made No Attempt to Deescalate the Situation That We Can See.
*WH Press Sec. Psaki: Military Aid to Ukraine ‘Defensive’ Not ‘Offensive’
*WH Press Sec. Psaki: In Terms of Escalation, I See No Difference Between Humanitarian and Military No-Fly Zones.

'As we said before, a no-fly zone would require implementation. It would require us potentially shooting down Russian planes, NATO shooting down Russian planes, and we are not interested in getting into World War Three.'
"The President spoke from the heart", White House spox Jen Psaki says after Biden tells reporters he considers Putin to be a war criminal.
"If we were President Zelenskyy, we would be asking for everything possible as well," Psaki says, "b/c he's watching his country and his people be attacked and brutalized by President Putin." But she said Biden makes decisions "through the prism of our own national security."
"Other countries can make their own sovereign decisions," said Psaki when asked if US would discourage other NATO allies from providing fighter jets to Ukraine.

Oh...

Hmm... I feel as if we done this whole arming and training people we shouldnt before and it didn't end well.
This is going to bite us in the ass.

Realpolitik necessitates a cold view of the field of battle of which we are plainly in the middle of.

It will always be a question of who the bigger problem is, right now this group is marginalised and that could change, but that risk shouldn't mean the rest of Ukraine including it's largely decent government (previous one was far more sketchy under Poroshenko) should suffer with being abandoned whilst also proving our own weakness in the process.

The video is a more detailed version of my recent post:

Cat is out the bag, even though they have <2% support generally, with the likes of Azov now - irony being Putin is as much to blame for that as anyone if not more so than most. Dunno what shape they'll survive in though once this is all over.

If they played it smart and obfuscated some of the less desirable aspects along with a big political push they could capitalise on this situation, assuming some kind of win, to garner much wider support for their cause which will bring a lot of problems for Ukraine if they try to suppress them in the future and again ironically it is Russia that has had a big hand in enabling that.

I'm surprised by how little anti-drone systems seem to be in operation, one of my college friends designed and prototype a capable one, using off the shelf parts, for his uni course like 10-15 years back maybe even longer - my memory is a little hazy now.
Big net?
