When is lunch for you at work?

If we're talking an actual break then between 12 and 1pm for half an hour or so but don't get these depends on how busy work is, Monday and Tuesday I had to work through

Eating I never miss, I get hangry, I'm eating soup right now

I like to aim for 1400/1500.

It was a habit I got into many years ago and now it has just stuck with me. I work in IT and I found if I had lunch at the same time as everyone else I'd often get lots of work related questions thrown at me. So I started going for lunch when the staff room was sure to be empty or close enough to it.

It also had the benefit of making my afternoon very, very short.

Exactly 12-1. The 1pm is a bit flexible, normally less. But the 12 is absolute.

Today (right now) I had a presentation 12:30-2, so I ate at 11:50 when I finished doing something else. My colleague is presenting right now fortunately.

Depends what I'm up to. If I'm out and about on customer site then it's just whenever is a good time to stop. If I'm working from home like I am today then it's whenever I feel like. I ate a later breakfast today so I'll probably give it another half an hour before getting anything.

I find most customers I work with are pretty flexible so they don't really care when I choose to stop and when I'm at home I'm generally left to crack on so I've got the flexibility to pretty much do what I want.

Shift work so not the same time every week, but usually about 4 hours in.

That's what it should be, but we instead work it so we don't get an official break, instead either start couple hours later or finish couple hours earlier. So 6 hour shifts instead of 8. Most days. Love it.

Anytime between midday and 2:00 p.m. depending on my workload.
Pretty much this for my last job where I worked around team calls, field testing and automated testing sessions.

Depending on the above, who was in the office and if the curry stall was pitched outside meant I could eat anytime between 12 noon and 3pm.
