When is lunch for you at work?

I tend to start work around 7am unless I'm driving into the office which means 8am (2hr drive) and I move it around my schedule. Some days it'll be earlier 12ish. Some days it may be after 1330. Just depends. I eat a lot though so I do tend to take a good 30-40 mins away from the desk.

When I get a chance to take it.

Really, I should take it earlier, say 12 o clock, but I don't like doing that and the problem there is everyone seems to come to me with problems after that point :p So I either miss it end up having it short!

Some colleagues literally drop tools bang on the dot and have it block out in their diary.

We've no set time at work so anywhere between 11am to 2pm depending on my daily work load which, being a mix of office based (planned work) and outdoors (reactionary work), can vary greatly per day.

I have a mate who had a similar mindset, late lunch means a short afternoon, but I never really bought into that, because it means a long morning. Personally I don't see why an afternoon that drags is worse than a morning that drags (especially if it means less chance of getting hungry).

When I used to work in an office however I did like going out for lunch at 'unusual' times however because it meant less queues to buy stuff, although leave it too late and it sometimes meant less food to choose from.

I get it inasmuch I tend to get more done in the mornings, I have more energy and I'm more productive. In the afternoon I get much less done so for me, at least, a longer morning makes more sense.

There was a study done that says after dinner many peoples productivity goes down.

I don't tend to stop at work and just eat through the day. I charge per hour so it's an extra 2.5 hours a week which can add up over a month/year

Usually 1-2 when WFH or in the office. If on site it can vary greatly, yesterday I had lunch at 3.30 which turned in lunner as then didnt fancy anything later.

Depends on the day, anything from ~0900 to ~1100.

Bit early, but technically my breakfast is ~0530, albeit I've been just having coffee in the mornings for a couple of months in the hope of eating a bit less through the day overall. Now on the verge of going under 79Kg for the first time since '18 having got to ~86Kg in Feb this year.
