Having a quick Google it is around £3 for your average size pack of butter in Russia currently... though some places it is spiking in price well above that due to shortages.

It is weird what is going on with air power in Ukraine, though maybe not so surprising really. On paper Russia should be able to project overwhelming air power in Ukraine, that is not the reality we are seeing. The smattering of SU-34s fielded don't seem to be doing well, a large amount are old versions of SU-25s, Mi-8 helis which haven't been upgraded since the late 70s, etc. etc.
Even with the reality being Russia has many aircraft not combat ready, lack of experienced pilots, lack of parts, their most hyped aircraft often only being serviceable in single digit numbers the efforts in Ukraine have still been hugely underwhelming while Ukraine has limited functional air force and limited air defences.
That’s only cause the rouble is so strong. It’s a bit of an irrelevant measure tbh.Having a quick Google it is around £3 for your average size pack of butter in Russia currently... though some places it is spiking in price well above that due to shortages.
I watched a video last night, where they questioned whether Russia have even made a concerted effort to properly suppress Ukrainian air defenses, judging from how air power was being fielded in Ukraine. Again which is in contrast to more Western doctrine of seeking and destroying radar/SAM sites as a matter of priority.
Russian Tactical Air Doctrine has never been about gaining 100% air superiority, even back in the Cold War era when they had vastly more aircraft. They will only attempt to gain temporary superiority whilst hitting specific targets far behind enemy lines and will then scuttle back to just having local superiority over the FLOT (Front Line Of Troops) where most of their tactical airpower is focused, effectively being used like flying artillery as an airborne tool of the Army.

Sweden and Finland formally invited to join NATO as alliance tells Russia to withdraw from Ukraine 'immediately'
NATO has promised to "defend every inch" of its territory as it revealed a major overhaul of its strategy, with a "deterrence and defence posture" based on a mix of "nuclear, conventional and missile defence capabilities".news.sky.com
Are there any details on what was agreed with Turkey in order to get them to withdraw their objection?

NATO on the other hand operates vastly differently and for vastly different reasons so people saying "Russia couldn't even................" etc are missing the point, Russia is doing exactly what it's doctrine tells it to do, but it's rapidly found out that the doctrine its based its entire tactical flying around is garbage in the modern age.
