As soon as the deal started to go a south for him, was there really any doubt he would try and wangle out of it?

It'll be interesting to see how water tight the merger agreement is with regards to that $1bn termination fee - gut feeling is he'll moan that Twitter was being dishonest, Twitter will argue they weren't and Musk forwent due diligence and, Musk will eventually end up paying a fraction of that termination fee.
 
So he's going to pay the $1B cold feet penalty is he :p

This has to be the dumbest attempt at a buyout and the excuse is inexcusable, not liking the numbers he declined to review before signing :cry:
