Resident Evil [Netflix] TV Series

apart from the lead being a snotty/bossy brat there's jus too much stupid inthe writing.
the lab security that registers a major breach and just changes light colours - hardly Red Queen, is it? Taking 50ft jumps off walls and showing no ill effects - mere hours after being slammed around and having internal injuries and a concussion, yet displaying no symptoms whatsoever. Caterpillars that oddly live underground, and do the old "hover menacingly close but don't actually attack" thing when they down the main character. ELite Umbrella troops managing to lose a target on a 'ING PIER?!?!?

Liked the games, loved the Milla Jovovich series of films (guilty pleasure as they're absolutely awful I know) but this.......................this is just woeful!

How on earth did this get green-lit in this state?

On the plus side, I've now seen what the output from a room full of Chimpanzees bashing away on typewriters must look like!

Reviews seem to be around 6/10 so not great but not as overwhelmingly bad as it seems to have been received on here. I might give it a go at some point.

So far not a single person cutting it some slack. Really must be that awful
I managed 20 mins of the first episode before turning it off. You get some shows that are so bad that they actually become watchable (Under the Dome), this isn't one of them. It falls short of even that low benchmark - a long way short too. It's just pure, unadulterated crap!

Absolute tosh so far. About 15 minutes in, she’s alerted the zombies like an absolute twit, they proceed to chase her at epic speed and then for some reason one catches her and the rest give up, unlike two minutes ago when they pounced for the rabbit. She’d be dead already, the end. The acting is almost unbearable. It’ll do as background noise I guess, maybe. Of course the lead is a minority, but as ever black, the media forgets about all the other minorities. Black, tick

Watched it all, wasn't great but have watched worse lol, some of the kids earlier "abilities" was explained later on in the series, would I watch a second series?, probably.

Lol still no one really with anything positive just a couple of would watch another season. Shall give it a dabble during the week

How does this compare to the Resident Evil show that was released last year on Netflix, the cgi one? I remember watching 15 minutes of that and turning it off. Most did not like that either. Is this worse?

I don't have a great knowledge of the original games and lore so perhaps that's partly why I quite enjoyed the movies.

The first part of the starting episode was not what I expected - and not in a good way,
however, I persevered with it and it seems to be getting a little better.

I am now in #2. I will continue to watch and see how it pans out.
