There was a tweet earlier today that claimed Russia was losing more men than it could recruit now, I guess if true that could be partly as a result of desertions.

It's mostly because of Russia's 19th century military strategy.
They are still relying on zerg rush, despite all the evidence.
Some potentilal good news (in addition to the bridge attacks); 2000 troops apparently trapped in a pocket in the Kherson region... or apparently being finished off - rather unclear right now???

Just more proof that Russia is nothing but a criminal country, a country run by criminals for the benefit of criminals. It's the same no matter the scale of the situation, from Russians ruining online gaming by constantly hacking and cheating to their government and military raping and looting entire countries. Russia needs eradicating from the face of the planet.

These lines of control on these maps that are shown arnt as physical as they show. They are a lot more porous, more fluid, there will be a lot of push and pull around these lines with units gaining and losing ground by the day/hour. The nature of warfare is very chaotic. These maps give a very generalised snapshot/view of the current state of play.
So you share with the Russian desire to wipe country out. Good to know you have the same feelings. Don't put yourself in a position of power over anyone.

Ukraine had recaptured some villages in that area before today but the town shown in the tweet is shown to be under Russian control according to DeepState Map:
Since the Russians are trapped the area is still under their control, that area will turn blue if/when they surrender or get wiped out.
