My suspicion is supply is matching training
Last thing the west needs is inexperienced crews getting taken out, they arent quick items to rebuild

I get that but time is of the essence I feel right now Kherson is a slow grind but looking promising but Russia are countering now by moving back up forces in place.

I feel slow drip is allowing Russia to keep pushing whilst a few fronts are stalled sadly ground is slowly being taken.

The slow grind with high casualties and equipment costs inflicted on Russia suits Ukraine more. Far easier to retake ground when the opposing forces are down to the wire. If I were UKR i'd let Russia keep moving forces about, hit them fast and hard when they do knowing full well it is diluting them everywhere not just in one place. It also suits me fine as the 750+K reserves will have more time to train and be equipped for such an occasion.

Weirdly fast, was he living on the front line or did his fellow soldiers not like the idea of having so much attention on their unit.
or they are hiding him, they could be using misleading info so no one looks for him when all this is over.

has anyone independent seen the body.

Yip let the HIMARS grind them down and destroy their souls so they are to scared to put up a fight.

Back in the real world....

Russia has launched fresh missile strikes in the southern Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv

Zelensky has said 'Ukraine is now ready to respond to any new Russian action.'
I really hope what Zelensky says is true and Ukraine do some kind of counter offensive, so far it seems to be all one way with the odd HIMARs thrown back at Russia.

We will see in the next few days what the response is.

It's really odd to see the Indian mouthnpiece, Wion, a news channel, who is fiercely anti-China in all their videos but somehow also fiercely pro-Russia in their videos. Normally we find that a news station that supports Russia also supports China but Wion for some reason is anti China and pro Russia.

But they are not the only ones, Rupert murdoch owned Sky News in Australia, is also fiercely anti China and at the same time, anti Biden and Pro Russia

WION is not pro-Russian
It certainly would not be monetized on youtube with millions of followers if it was pro-Russian.

What it does do well is update quite often so you usually get the latest updates from WION quicker than you would from the BBC.

It's certainly more trustworthy than Twitter.

News reporting is all controlled by money at the end of the day. Pretty **** to be honest.

"Video of a loitering munition strike by Ukraine's 28th Mechanized Brigade on a Russian 82mm mortar position. The graphic on the video suggests this was by a US-made Phoenix Ghost loitering munition." @roblee twitter

Given the border issues with China and how Russia is a supplier for a large amount of their military equipment it isn't surprising an Indian mouthpiece is anti-China and pro-Russia.

Kinda odd the BRICS alliance is even a thing, given the border disputes between China and India.

The gas part I do know to be true; Russia has been saying it will sell Gas to other countries and yes it actually has entered into contracts to sell gas to others - but they've actually been unable to deliver the gas apart from a little bit they send to China due to a small pipeline they have but all the gas that they need to send around the world via ships, yeah that hasn't really been happening for them

In latest news Russia has been buying in large amounts of cardboard boxes to increase its gas exports ;)

You can't stand it when people don't support your pro Russian position can you
Are you missing your RT fix?

This. Places like BBC hold a consistent narrative, most others not.

Russian gas exports are utterly stuffed in the short term. There aren't the LNG ships available for them to ramp up much more for export to India and China as they're already in use and Russia would need to compete on price with competitor economies whose ability to deliver and stick to their side of a deal isn't in question.

Building pipeline(s) to China and/or India with the capacity of Nordstream will take years and cost tens of billions that they just don't have - and China & India will play major hardball on price as Russia has no realistic alternative.

They will continue to play games with threatening cut off of supplies to Europe, but their own greed will win and they'll continue for as long as Europe will take the gas from them.

All that being said, Gas is far less important to the Russian economy than oil. All the noise Russia is making about it is simply there to put pressure on the EU governments and try to cause splits within the EU.

On the contrary I have already pointed out months ago that I will always be against the majority here.

When you lot hated on Iraqis because of Bush's and Blairs war I was against you, nor did I believe the propaganda back then either.
You lot hated on muslims for over a decade, ofcourse I was against you.
I was also against those of you who hated on the chinese during the covid pandemic.
I've also made it pretty clear that I do not hate Russians nor do I blame them for Putins war.
I have also stated months ago that I will be against this same crowd when they hate on the Chinese when it kicks off with China.

So if you ever think that I am close to sharing or wanting to share the same view as you lot, nothing could be further from the truth.

Are you missing your RT fix?

I remember when people here were saying microsoft has blocked the installation of Windows 10 and 11 in Russia, forum members here cheered and thought Russians would never be able to install windows or recieve any more updates, totally forgetting people had been installing windows from disks for years.

Now I did point out at the time that VPN's would bypass this and they would probably educate their own(Russian) population on VPN's, a few here still did carry talking as they were unconvinced.

Now here we are again so many months later someone still believing that because RT has been blocked in the UK that it cannot be accessed by a VPN.
It genuinly is quite shocking how clueless some of the population can become when they believe everything they read from Twitter.

There is a time to be contrary, but repeatedly doubling down just to be contrary is laughable.
Or is that you are scared?

By the way I take your "you lot hated on muslims" as highly offensive. I don't nor ever have hated on Muslims. I agreed with some of the things you posted (didn't blame china for example), I am far less black and white that you would like to paint me, nor as you appear to be yourself.
Have you ever considered if your repeatedly on the "wrong side" (based on public opinion) that you are maybe somehow not making the rational decision and your views are somehow tainted?
You seem to use the word hate a lot, I am not sure you get it. Everything is not simple black and white, hate or love. Maybe thats where you are going wrong.

Seeing as you seem such a fan of brutal, dishonest, law breaking, despicable countries why don't you move to one?
Which would you prefer, China or Russia, I am sure we could have a whip round if you couldn't afford it.

I think the majority seem to get something you don't. Its war, in war you have to inflict pain on the other population, it helps the war effort both directly and indirectly, Putin seems to get it, hes using Gas (not physically of course).
I don't think many celebrate the Russian public or indeed the Ukranians having to go through this, its Putins fault simple as that.

Jeez you think your some kind of tech wizard using a VPN? Its not like they are hard to find or use. We are on a tech forum after all.
Again you seem to struggle to understand, whilst many Russians will be happy to use unofficial versions and dodgy updates etc, it forces them into a more risky position. Do you think Russian scammers wont target other Russians or something.

I'm glad you have your VPN and your daily fix of RT, it makes sense.
Keep on the good fight comrade.

I don't get your fixation with Twitter either (I don't use it never have), again in the real world people know its a funny medium. Sometimes it has 100% factually correct breaking news, other times its blatant lies.
Especially in war. All media has forever been used as a weapon in war.
Its also very useful for people who just have phones and aren't sitting in a nice comfortable chair with plenty of time to read detailed reports and that

Maybe you should sign up for twitski the pro Russian content may suit your bias more.
