Energy Prices (Strictly NO referrals!)

Because 'make our own' = public spending = communism.

The free market is the answer. Why own and operate our own essential utilities, when we can outsource it to foreign private and state-owned companies and let them skim off the profits?
Not really about that though, is it. The UK doesn't have the money or the domestic capacity to build a nuclear plant 'in house'.
 
Petrol in Greece has dropped about 15% or 37c per litre in the last 2 months, has that not been mirrored in the UK? was at a ridiculous 2.30 per litre, now about 1.93. (euros of course)
That’s slightly higher than it was when I went to Crete at the end of April/beginning of May.
 
Petrol prices should be £1.5x per litre to be considered back to normal. Anyone considering the current 1.7x prices as a good deal have been successfully hoodwinked.
 
totally selfish alert from me .... but i hope it is a brown out not a blackout..... if it is a brown out i should be ok, blackout i am buggered with everyone else as i was too tight to pay for off the grid electricity generation.
