Aren't all those clips from AC Blackflag? Its been a while since I played it, but I'm pretty sure that the modern day sections allowed you to view other Animus projects / experiments.
Hexe has me intrigued as the AC symbol reminds me of Blair Witch for obvious reasons, though that makes no sense. As for Red lol, sorry Ubisoft but Ghost of Tsushima kinda ruined your parade there and nothing will change that.
I have enjoyed the AC games in the past but this "reveal" has left me with zero interest.
Unsurprisingly seems all geared around releasing cheaply made, shorter games within a platform that allows for increased transactional content - all dressed up as the future modern future of the franchise.

It's become very similar to Farcry I think.

Mirage marks the first step for a more varied series.
Can’t wait to see some gameplay when it’s ready. It looks like they are gonna make the games a bit more shorter than the last ones.

Valhalla was an absolute slog of a game to get through
So repetitive as well (Then again, so was Watchdogs, so it's an Ubisoft thing)

I do love these longer games but I also wouldn't mind a return to the shorter 20-30 hour games they used to be.
The reveal trailer for Mirage looked fantastic. Though I am of the opinion Brotherhood and Revelations are some of the best game trailers, ever.
